My mother in law convinced my wife not to reconcile, after I left. They wanted full custody of the children so they used my attempts to reconcile as an excuse to get a protection order (they failed). Unfortunately, she did get custody of the children, due to smacking. My mistakes after leaving, was failing to recognise and acknowledge that I'd been controlling. And telling her I might as well remarry. Those majorly set us back. She has no desire to reconcile. It feels pointless. But if there is any hope, I'm willing to do whatever it takes.

What if she’s wanting me to move out even though I’ve addressed my issues and have made big changes, which she was surprised by? She’s a stay at mom and we have 3 kids. I feel like she’s holding a lot of resentment over how I made her feel over the years. But I don’t want to move out and be away from my family

A divorce is on the table in the background where she filed in June…and I am in an apartment since July…the divorce word has not been mentioned…and our communication has been great…are these positive signs?

Sorry. I disagree. Make yourself look attractive. Listen to her . Look deep in her eyes when she talks. Praise her special attributes. Give her attention and praise for her new haircut, her new smelling perfume, the new dress, etc.
