Es increíble como ellos, que dicen no tener mucho conocimiento en español, pueden leer nuestro idioma y pronunciarlo tan sencillamente (aunque no es perfecto, es bastante aceptable). Alguien que hable español, pero que no sepa nada de francés y tenga que leer "ils peuvent commencer" pronunciaría solo "commencer" parecido a la pronunciación correcta y ni a esa le atinaría. Esto es de lo mejor de nuestro idioma español: la simplicidad que tiene para mirarlo escrito y pronunciarlo correctamente por su consistencia y sus cinco vocales únicas.

Soy francesa. Estoy estudiando el español desde Julio y me encanta el idioma aunque es un poco difícil de pronunciar. Personalmente, pienso que los hispanoparlantes también tienen un buen conocimiento del francés. hablan muy bien.

@@cleog765 Soy dominicano y he estado estudiando algo de francés desde septiembre. Fonéticamente hablando tiene muchas más vocales y es un poco difícil, pero es más consistente que el inglés al menos. El francés es un idioma muy original.

@@marinopayan7338 es más consistente pero hay muchas letras que no se pronuncian y puede resultar muy difícil escribir algunas palabras. Para nosotros, franceses, también. Siempre tengo conmigo un libro de gramática francesa porque hay normas que no entiendo

It is interesting that Spaniards, Brazilians, Italians and Portuguese can understand each other reasonably well with some effort, but we have a lot of difficulty understanding French and especially Romanians. But they also have difficulty understanding some of us, for example the French and Romanians do not easily understand Brazilians, Portuguese and in some cases Spaniards. Greetings from Brazil 🇧🇷

im italian and i spoke with french, spanish and brasilians and what i can say from this experience is that spanish is the only language that i could really understand. nobody really understood me when i spoke in italian sadly. i think that italians understand spanish better than the spanish can understand italian. spanish has a lot of words that we have in italian but we don't use and sound "old" and is easier to now when it's plural in spanish (s) compared to italian (i,e+irregularities). anyway ,when i tried to read them i felt like french was closer to italian in terms of vocabulary and grammar, even tho the words look more different that compared to spanish that has so many words that are the same or slightly changed.

@@shrektheswampless6102 It seems that Spanish is easily understood by almost all Romantic language speakers, even Romanians who are the strange cousin with Slavic face of the Romantic languages. Some are easier to understand Spanish, like the Brazilians, the Portuguese and you Italians and some understand 50%, as is the case of the French and Romanians.

There use to be the occitan languagein southern france and catalan was spokeni n perpignan, there were transitional dialects from Lille and normandy, all the way into sicily and andalusia.

@Matheus Costa l'italiano e lo spagnolo hanno una sonorità simile ma non è la stessa. Il portoghese ha una pronuncia più complessa e non ha la stessa melodia dello spagnolo;proprio a causa di questa complessità gli spagnoli non riescono a capire i portoghesi. Comunque, sono riuscito a capire ciò che hai scritto e sono curioso di sapere se riesci a fare lo stesso 😁

@@frederic6998 Well, we Brazilians don't understand French easily, for the same reason you French don't understand Romanians, there are many words in French that are completely different from Portuguese. It surprises me that you can easily understand us as Portuguese and French have very different vocabulary and pronunciation. I'm studying French and my biggest difficulty is that, different from Spanish and Italian, French has many different words and I imagine that the same happens with a Frenchman studying Portuguese, he would not recognize much of our vocabulary and pronunciation.

Supongo que es una expresión derivada de la tauromaquia. Cuando un torero ha sido derribado por un toro y éste comienza a embestir, otro torero puede distraer al toro echando la capa a la cara del toro. De esta manera el primer torero se puede salvar.

Las lenguas romances tienen una magia que no tienen otras familias lingüísticas: en este video los franceses podian leer el texto sin dificultad y pronunciar las palabras muy bien, sin ser su lengua materna. @@Nath_CM Eso es porque los franceses en algun momento cambiaron la ortografia y hace generaciones que su idioma no pronuncia ciertas letras en algunas partes de la oración. De hecho acabo de preguntar eso a las chicas. Sin embargo, me parece que el frances escrito se entiende muchisimo mas que el hablado, si no sabes el idioma.

Pero porque aprender una lengua romance es relativamente fácil. Un inglés habla una lengua germánica, que aunque tiene muchas palabras francesas, su gramática no tiene nada que ver.

For a french the easiest language to learn is italian, I think my language and french are the most beautiful languages in the world, third position spanish ❤️🇮🇹🇫🇷

Me resulta curioso que así como nosotros los hispanohablantes decimos que el francés es más armonioso que nuestra lengua madre, los franceses opinan lo mismo pero al revés. Honestamente agradezco que me haya tocado ser hispanohablante nativo, puesto que es un idioma sencillo de entender y también de pulir, así que puedo invertir más tiempo aprendiendo otros idiomas. Jaja, yo siento lo mismo pero al revés - agradezco que me haya tocado ser anglohablante nativa por que el inglés, aunque simple, tiene muchas irregularidades y sutilezas confusas como los verbos frasales... y no la ortografía es bastante lejos de la lógica de español :') (Y es muy útil hablar inglés a un nivel nativo, por supuesto)

El " problema" del francés para nosotros los extranjeros es que en algun momento de su historia, los franceses dejaron de pronunciar algunas letras y eso dificulta su aprendizaje para el resto de los hablantes de lenguas romances. J'ai un question pour l'équipe de Easy French: pendant des siècles la prononciation du français c'était plus ou moins phonétique comme l'espagnol, non? Quand la langue se changeait officiellement? Vous-pouvez appartager un lien avec cette information? Merci les copains.

Saludos. Penso que ya muchas razónes para explicar porque el sistema de pronunciación entre el español y el frances ha cambiado significativamente. Pero dos cosas lo he influenciado mucho : geografía y historia. Como saben , la proximidad de Francia a los paises germanicos he influenciado la pronunciación. Como el "R" in frances tene la misma pronunciación como el "R" del alemán. Y antes de la "latinizacion" del fraces para el imperio romano , pueblos germanicos han vivido en la proximidad geografica de Francia de hoy . Ellos se llaman "les gaulois" ou "Gaul". En el otro camino, España a tení muchas conquistadores y invadores comoe los "Visigoths" y los moros qui ha influenciado el idioma español con muchas palabras del origen arabe. Pero eso no pasó con el frances. Espero que eso ha clarificado mucho. Tambien desculpame por mi español malo . Estoy aprendiendo español.

La langue française s'est toujours naturellement développée de manière très rapide, avec autant de changements de sons et de règles pendant 20 ans que l'espagnol et l'italien en 100 ans. Cette dégénérescence rapide a commencé dès la fin de l'empire romain et se poursuivra bien après. De plus, l'académie française est très conservatrice, préférant crier au scandale pour chaque nouveauté, alors que l'académie espagnole a toujours suivi de près et encadré chaque changement.

@@mohamadmerhi9277 L'influence germanique sur la France est assez faible. Le R uvulaire que les Allemands et les Français utilisent vient en réalité de Paris au XVIe siècle. C'est donc nous qui les avons influencé et non l'inverse. Les Gaulois ne sont pas Germaniques, mais Celtes, et ont également légèrement influencé le français à ses débuts.

Mais aussi je voudrais vous demander si vous savez comment la distinction phonetique entre le français européen et le français quebecoise a developpé? Parce que j'ai lit dans un peu ressources que le français quebecoise est une forme ancienne de français. Ça fait que le français de Quebec est plus conservateur et traditionel que de la France. C'est vrai ou pas ? Aussi je suis desolé si j'ai fait erreurs, le français n'est pas ma langue maternelle.

@@mohamadmerhi9277 pas de problème ! Les Gaulois sont considérés comme les "ancêtres" des Français. Comme le français se développe vite, le français du Québec a rapidement connu de nouveaux changements, différents de ceux de France à cause de l'éloignement. De plus, la plupart des colons canadiens parlaient les dialectes des régions atlantiques de France plutôt que le français académique,ce qui a encore contribué aux différences. Voilà :)

Il est intéressant de voir que les Espagnols, les Brésiliens, les Italiens et les Portugais peuvent se comprendre raisonnablement bien avec quelques efforts, mais nous avons beaucoup de difficulté à comprendre le français et surtout des Roumains. Mais ils ont aussi des difficultés à comprendre certains d'entre nous, par exemple, les Français et les Roumains ne comprennent pas facilement les Brésiliens, les Portugais et dans certains cas les Espagnol. salutations du Brésil 🇧🇷

L'espagnol est ma langue maternelle, mais je n'avais jamais écouté l'expression "echar un capote". On a pas cette expression-là au Chili. Parece ser una expresión propia de España. ¡Estuvo muy entretenido el episodio!😄

Es normal que debido a una cuestion geografica la referencia de los franceses sea el español que hablamos en España. Lo mismo ocurre con los yankees que tienen como referencia el dialecto mexicano.

"Echar un capote" es una expresión muy española, como "coser y cantar", etc. No las conocemos en Latinoamérica porque deben ser de reciente data (después S. XIX), aunque sí conocemos "tenerlo en la punta de la lengua" que deben ser mucho más antiguas y llegaron al continente americano hace siglos.

Il est intéressant de noter que l'expression ''echar un capote'' vient de l'argot taurin. Lorsque le torero est en difficulté, les autres membres de la cuadrilla l'aident en jetant une cape, ce qui fait que le taureau se laisse distraire et se désintéresse du torero. En espagnol, il existe de nombreuses phrases fixes qui viennent du monde de la tauromachie

Viene del mundo del toreo. Cuando un torero está en una situación de peligro, porque tal vez se ha caído o el toro le ha arrancado su capote con los cuernos y le ha "desarmado", rápidamente el resto del grupo (o cuadrilla) de toreros entran en el ruedo para intentar atraer al toro con sus capotes. Por eso "echar un capote" significa ayudar o socorrer. De la misma situación viene otra frase que se usa en toda España y es "estar al quite", usada cuando los toreros de la cuadrilla están pendientes de salir a ayudar. Por eso "estar al quite", figuradamente, es estar atento por si alguien necesita ayuda.

J'´étais en France 1980 - 83 pour apprendre le français et quand j'ai quitté la Françe je suis allé directement en Espagne ou je suis reste 1983 - 85 et ou j'ai appris l'espagnole. Meme maintenant je fais deux heures de conversation en français par semaine, 1 heure avec une femme de Guadaloupe y 1 heure avec un Haitian. Aussie je fais 2 heures d'espagnol par semaine avec une femme de Guatemala. J'ai trop travaillé pour apprendre ses langues et je ne veux pas les oublier alors je fais un effort pour ne les perdre pas. J'adore les languages, elles sont ma passion. Mon filleul qui est français parle bien l'espagnol et très bien l'anglais. Il y a peu il a commencé l'italien. Sa mère est française et son père est américain. C'est un type très sympa. J'adore l'accent des espagnols mais j'ai le laisser tomber pour un accent plus d'ici, des Amérique. Merci pour le video.

Once you’re past a certain, albeit undefinable, point in learning another language, you won’t forget its essentials. Similar but different to riding a bike or learning to swim, even if you leave it dormant for years and decide to return, it’s there. I speak from experience. However, this rule only holds if you’re past a certain point in your knowledge of the language. I learned French, initially at school, then in France itself so could speak it more or less fluently. I left it for years, picked it up again and it was like slipping on a familiar coat I hadn’t worn for a while. However, my Spanish I stopped at a basic level, returned to it and almost nothing was there. It’s to do with the brain connections we have made in each language.

@@titteryenot4524 Interesting comment. I was listening to a polyglot the other day say that sometimes after leaving a language for a while it actually helps him to be better at it when he returns. I think I've felt that for brief periods upon returning to a language. Nowadays I'm trying to connect with German and it has been a challenge in part I think because of my age and that I've been spoiled by romance languages. I'm determined though. Slow and steady as she goes. Thanks for the feedback.

Il y a de plus en plus de mots de l'arabe maghrébin qui entre dans la langue française, notamment par les jeunes (sans compter tous les mots français qui viennent directement de l'arabe comme café, algèbre, guitare, carafe, safari, sucre...). Mais à part les arabophones, ce n'est pas facile pour les Français de comprendre l'arabe car il n'y a pas de racine commune. Sorti de habibi, shukran et labès (les 2 derniers sont peut-être plus berbères qu'arabes), on connait pas grand chose.

En el español latinoamericano(Al menos en México y en Argentina) constipado tiene la misma connotaciòn que en el francés, aunque la palabra que mas utilizamos es estreñido.

Estuve aprendiendo Francés en Duolingo por tres meses y viendo puro Netflix en Francés y escuchando música francesa, pero ni Haci logré entenderlo cuando lo hablan y no pude hacer oraciones en francés y ni mucho menos escribírlo, lo único que aprendí fueron ciertas palabras y una que otra frascesilla y para que les miento también groserías jiji 🤭

German economy is a major deciding factor. Without having done the research, I would assume that every neighbouring country to Germany have them as their most valuable trading partner. Therefore, by prioritizing the german language, you are opening up more career options. It is the same here in Denmark. Linguistic beauty does not correlate to the most optimal economic outcome. ;)

@@8111thomas Though there are more people learning Spanish than German in France I would say it's : 1. English (mandatory, first foreign language for almost everyone) 2. Spanish (second language for the majority of people) 3. German (second language for the rest of the people) And then more rarely, or as a third language : italian, and even more rare Chinese, Japenese...

I think it is partly due to the fact that, when we get to middle school, we often have to choose between Spanish and German as a second language to learn (English being the 1st foreign language taught, in most cases. In some regions, I think they also have italian as a 2nd choice).

Les racines des mots sont similaires, mais la prononciation en espagnol est beaucoup plus facile qu'en français. En FR, on ne prononce pas la moitié du mot alors qu'en ES, on lit le mot entier tel qu'il est écrit (et les voyalles sont toujours prononcées de la même façon).

Please check out the argentinian spanish, sometimes very different from the spanish from Spain, more "french" in the way verbs are used, eg: "tu piensas" (Spain/most of Latin America), "vos pensás" (Argentina), "ten" (Sp/LA), "tené" (Arg), "tené" sounds the same as "tenez" in french, that's what i meant when i said it was more "frenchy", great videos, see ya.

Argentina recibió a muchos inmigrantes franceses en el S XIX, por eso Buenos Aires tiene tanta arquitectura francesa decimonónica y muchas palabras fueron tomadas del francés. Por ej: aquí decimos "valija" en vez de "maleta" (fr valise) y esto también se ve en el lunfardo con la palabra "bagayo" (fr bagage). Tengo muchos ejemplos

Those features you mention are not unique to Argentina-- they're features of voseo, the usage of the second person informal pronoun "vos". Various regions in Latin America use voseo, including regions that are far away from Argentina such as most of Central America and parts of Colombia. I see what you mean though about certain voseo verb conjugations sounding more "french".

I learned French after I learned Spanish, and it took me a while to pronounce French vowels properly, because I'd pronounce the "e" Spanish way. Especially "Nous seron...~~"
