Took a long break from trying to dunk because of ankle injuries but finally started to put in the work to fix it and start to jump again. At the beginning of the year I struggled to touch the rim and now I’m dunking off the dribble at 5’9. Vert is up 9 inches in 8 months from 29 to 38. The information you post has been so helpful

@@CaioSantos-tz6kv 6 Day a week pull push legs but I worked up to that. I warm up with injury prevention for hip flexors ankles side glutes and the McGill big 3 everyday. Try to get in plyo on my leg days doing weighted jumps step ups kneeling jumps pogo jumps etc. I haven’t done as much as I could have due to freak injuries playing basketball. Jump sessions to practice dunking I try to do once a week. The most important thing for all the progress I’ve made is nutrition. Shaving the body fat I had has just made me a better athlete. The only problem I’m having is trying to stay at a lower weight because of my joints. I keep getting bigger and leaner. I’m getting close to 5’9 170 at 10% bodyfat (quad veins oblique veins a legit 10%) but I want to be 165 to jump higher

Awsome video!! Is there a number you think most people can get? Like should most (average height, weight and under 35) guys be able to reach at least 36 inches with proper training? Im 6,3, 220 lbs, 26 y old, with a 28 inch V. I play volleyball and havn't been diligent in the weight room enough. I feel like that and having the need to shed off around 20-25 lbs is what have been keeping me from making progress.
