Yes I have reactive emotions. He is always pushing my buttons

Yeah, I didn’t just think “If only…”, he TOLD me that: “If only you cared about our finances and helped with the taxes, I wouldn’t have to do it by myself and make choices for all of us.” Honestly, it was so confusing at the time. He used this “reasoning” to take the kids & I off the health insurance (but keep himself on) without my knowledge or consent.

I have made things worse for myself. I went out with this guy, and now he thinks he owns me, and my personal parts of my body. He's always talking about other girls, and how they look, he tells me to bring him a girl and we can have a 3 some. I think I have traded one narcissist for another

Trying to trigger my emotions doesn’t work with me. I have years of Al-Anon under my belt from living with my late alcoholic husband who went to AA and therapy. This narcissist roommate I live with now thinks therapy isn’t for him. So I will be asking him to move out. I have full support from my family and friends. They want him gone also. I’ll have to admit I enabled him for several years. Not any more!

He did not get the "reactive abuse" I did not react. I learned extremely fast that defending myself did no good and I saw he was twisting everything around on me as he did it even though I could not grasp it well enough to combat it. I was just sick physically. Around the time his mask slipped I ended up with 4 months of non stop gastrointestinal issues. The kind I knowingly get if I have too much dairy which I was barely having any and sucralose would do although he was feeding me that at the time he was arrested. Because of my physical disability and he was paid as my pca, he made my food, or did not in order to punish me. He switched my bagels I typically bought for non refrigerated ones blueberry and Thomas brand. I went 4 days without food after his arrest and noticed this itchy skin I was dealing with, imagine poison ivy or thousands of mosquito bites, my skin just itches at night bad. Well no eating itch stopped. I tried making a bagel with cream cheese itch exponential was back. I looked at label and saw sucralose. He knew too that I could not have it. He chose the bagels instead of fridge ones. I wonder if the bagels were not punishment for not reacting to him. For just sitting quietly blank expression and not saying one single word. He was accusing me of starting the fights yet I obviously was not. He may have accused me of being "abusive" to him yet I obviously was not. But he was triggering me, like hitting a nail on the head with a hammer, his yelling triggered my ptsd, childhood trauma. He knew and was happy he did.
