No-water all the way!!! I have very fine strands. Monthly washes. My scalp is fine. My minitwists are THRIVING!! Now I do use a water-based leave-in (Hawaiian Silky 14 in 1) in my scalp n sparingly on my strands at least twice a week cuz inside heating does a number on the skin.

Yes, this is beautiful. An effective routine that carers to your hair needs without necessarily washing so often. Good to know your scalp and hair are fine with it. Keep going ❤️

Not adding water to twist make you carry it for longer period without it locking up.

Definitely, yes. My hair tends to lock up with twists when it's wet, so I only do that when I'm sure I'm taking it down right after.

what do you use than? to twist? i use water leave in and oil. i will try not to use water to twist

I believe that because I have tried mini twists a couple of times and every time my twists loc at the roots and cause webbing which is why I don't do them at all I lose too much hair. Same with wash and gos too much hair loss for the cause.

Please share what you did on your no water routine from beginning to end, maybe you can do your wash day then moisture and share what you did and didn't do during your no water routine. It sounds interesting.

A KZfaqr called her braided diadem doesn't use water on her hair only butter and it's thriving,u can check her out I use aloevera juice mixed with rosewater,i don't use water too

@@Ifeoma_Gift I think you can only pull it off when you don't manipulate your hair too much,like the lady keeps her protective styles for 4 months I personally can't keep protective style for more than a month
