@mennograafmans1595

Anything that launches a projectile has recoil. Any action has equal jada jada. Some weapons just absord it better or differently. And most don't produce enough energy to have it really affect you. So that's why it seems some boys and catapults etc. don't have recoil, but they do.
@joshridgell4312
@joshridgell4312 2 жыл бұрын
Yes it has recoil but barley any at all I mean come on has anybody in this entire comment section shot a crossbow? He had a lose grip and the stock was NOT tight to his shoulder you can see it move slightly up then down before he took the shot meaning he was holding it slightly out from his shoulder.. I did it as a kid cause a crossbow is so light and u don’t expect it to do anything… so your grip is relaxed and not tight to your shoulder. The kid just underestimated his weapon, Just grip it like a man hold it tight to your shoulder and all is well👍🏼

@@anarcho262I know not all crossbows do. But mine has rubber stops at the end of the track to stop the string. So I always load my bolt with my fingers in front of the stops so I know if it miss-fired, it would be impossible for th string to hit me. Now the fletching might slice my finger but that won’t be anything compared to the string taking it clear off.

@@anarcho262Not all bows have safety switches, one of the bows I have from the 70s doesn’t have safety, it’s purely mechanical and relies on you not pressing the trigger. False information mate, load bolts in the top rail with fingers on top to not strangle the draw string! That’s the correct way.

Just a little friendly advice, learn to aim without the scope first, cause you won’t always have access to one 😊 keep shooting and never put the scope against your eye aswell, always look through the scope from about an inch to an inch and a half away from the scope, you’ll have a better view too, also, don’t close your left eye, learn to aim with both eyes open. I like how no one notices the fact his hand is in the path of of the bow string. It's not really as common knowledge as it should be, but putting your hand up in the path of the string is as dangerous as pointing a loaded gun at your hand, but you don't need an arrow to get hurt. Cross bows can have twice as much draw weight if not more than any other standard bow (compound,recurve, long) and have taken and broken fingers. Hes lucky he put his hand back down onto the foregrip because he definitely would have been missing flesh on his thumb if his hand did not move.
