Well, not exactly, but he does blame himself, which pretty much has the same effect. It was his fire powers that killed her, but that was bc gaea was provoking him and trying to get him to lose control of his fire, so that his mom would die and his spirit would break.

@@humairahkazi2459 well I know he didn't kill her exactly, but it was his powers and that's the whole reason he didn't use his powers until his first quest, he felt guilty and that would've been extremely traumatizing for anyone, let alone an 8 year old

@nicolelafferty5552 yea ofc. Like I said, it was technically gaea, but Leo still blames himself and probably always will. He's tied for my favorite character, and he has such an awful backstory. I'm glad he was eventually able to find peace with calypso and the girls in indiana.
