Amen.... We who have to work our asses off to earn a dollar have a MUCH GREATER APPRECIATION than those that are sit'n pretty with stacks of cash to WASTE. In no way am I saying that this guy doesn't or haven't worked hard for it. HOWEVER.... Nuff said...

I'd run that around the farm! Not be CAT or Kubota quality, but sure doesn't have their price either. Engine goes bad, harbor freight swap. Hydraulics aren't hard to replace or upgrade, especially sincd the unit is so bare bones. My biggest concern would be if the tracks are a standard size for replacement.

Off the shelf parts, easy to upgrade a pump if one goes bad. Same with hoses and everything else. I test drove a couple at an auction.. not bad at all

I just bought one at an auction for $4500 plus auction fee. It wouldn't start.smelled the fuel in the tank. Didn't smell like gas. Ended up taking the carburetor off and found the main jet plugged. Cleaned it out, and now it starts. Put about 10 hours on it in three days. It has the same problem others have mentioned online. It gets very hot in the engine compartment. I've ordered a couple small fans to improve the cooling. So far I'm very happy with it. You just can't beat the price. If I need something larger, I'll rent one from Preferred Rental. They have excellent rental prices.

@@jamesb.armstrong5433 as far as something larger this company makes a 3.5 ton with a yanmar engine and full cab for $8000 to $15,000. I just haven't seen many on youtube reviewed and everything I am seeing is having to import from China as there are no sellers here in the US for this model.

@@texazboii definitely in business to make a profit which is understandable. Just feel that it being on a KZfaq video being seriously abused makes it worth more money or for that matter worth as much as it was when new. Not trying to be rude about it, just being realistic and looking at it from a business standpoint. Am I going to purchase a used tractor for 9,000 or will I buy a new tractor for 4,000? Hmmm, choices-choices lol.

Yup I was curious as well how much these cost new. Looking at $8500 brand new at your door after taxes and fees buying it directly from china. Still cheaper than the 9999 price he’s asking plus non molested by whistlen diesel. I get it tho he’s in the business to make money.

I own a Groundhog KH14G-2... its the same body, better "standard" specs with USA Dealer backing. Pretty stout little machines..... no complaints. In the end,,, I think this guy should have got a 7 out of 10 at least.... it did everything you wanted it to and kept going......lolol

Good luck finding an American mini excavator for under 10 grand. I am really thinking about getting one of these. Just to dig smaller ditches for water lines. It would be perfect for fitting in tighter spaces that the larger ones would not fit in.

Not sure if it's the same issue, but I operated a backhoe for a while, that had a toggle switch to change controls from backhoe, to excavator set up, to suit operators who'd go from one machine to another

Hello. I have the same machine. Mine is 13.5 Briggs motor. Have about 100 and about 1 year old. The turn sprocket fell off today. Keep the tracks tight.

FYI, it uses mineral oil for hydraulic oil, that is why it is completely clear.

I've seen little 1ton Chinese cab over flat bed trucks that look like the Isuzus that were awesome. I bought those Chinese 4 wheelers at flea market motorcycles they went through 6 grandchildren still running 20 yrs latter

@@georgezhou7961 I know that's an awesome price. I saw a bulk deal 10 trucks for 6 grand each. My neighbor paid close to 90 grand for a decked out ford f-250 pick up. Just purchased a new home too. I couldn't sleep at night . Most 35 to 40 Americans look rich but are living month to month. I haven't purchased a brand new vehicle in in 28 years I've had some pretty nice vehicles but used. Purchased a 95 Nissan hardbody new. I can walk outside right now and fire it up. Still have it repainted it last yr 2.4s with synthetic oil are bullet proof.

Well, everyone keeps dissing anything made in China, but I’ve got to say, that little machine is one of very very few to make it out of Cody’s ownership alive. Then it put up with Bruce as well! That seems like it would be a brilliant addition to any small landscape gardening business. It’s small enough to fit in a car trailer and get hauled around by the family daily driver, yet it can dig and doze pretty well. Far better than a couple of strong guys with shovels and picks and for a much lower wage. I wonder are Shandong going to use these videos in their advertising. They certainly seem to have produced at least one nice little machine.
