A $1,000 bike with a great bike fit will feel a $10,000 bike.

I unfortunately bought a bike.... and I have knee pain, neck pain, tried changing everything and now I realized the bike might be a little too big or something is off... so I am going to get a frame that should fit me correctly and add all the components on it myself.

Cleats position. It’s minimal but will make a difference for some. As always, top top top! 👍

Hi Mr. Cruz, I have a point of clarification... is it in the cycling world, you want to create a rounded back from the person's low back to his thoracic region? I am asking because anatomically, for you to create a steady and an efficient core, you want to place someone in what is called a neutral back-the lumbar region in lordosis, thoracic region in kyphosis? Thanks in advance and I enjoy your videos immensely

There is always one leg that are shorter than the other. Often forgotten. Had issues with one knee and added a 2mmm shim and took attention about cleetposition. Increase of my power and cadence. Was like I became one with my bike.

you have the same leg dimension just you have pelvic rotation

Hello Coach Leian 😊. Just want to ask what is the optimal degree of tilt on the hoods because having it parallel on the drops is quite unfomfortable on the wrist. Thank you ! Ride safe and hopefully ride soon!
@CruzControlPH5 ай бұрын
How are you? Thank you for visiting. About your question, there is no text book number that will dictate the degree of the hoods. But you used the correct word “optimal”. Your hood angle will be dictated by your natural wrist angle without intervention. Follow what nature set. Lessen the impediments and you’ll slowly feel that “natural” angle that minimizes the chronic stress

Hello po Coach@@CruzControlPH 😊. So far, on a semester break and getting back again into cycling. Thank you for the tip again coach and will apply it 😊. Sir which much better 170 crankarm or 165 crank arm,please give some idea?
@CruzControlPH5 ай бұрын
In reality the 5 mm difference will not make a huge jump in sensations. But use this basic principle : the shorter the crank length, the higher the preferred RPM (cadence) to keep the same speed. The longer the crank, the lesser the cadence to stay at the same speed. Both twill work, but as you change lengths, your training should also adapt. It not as simple as changing equipment. I use 180mm for my climbing and race bike with a 55 or a 58T, and i also use a 160mm for my recovery bikes - because it does not allow me to put pressure on the pedals and cannot use my 56x11. Hence i can only ride comfortably and be on the same speed by compensating to 90 to 100 rpm (compared to 45 to 50 rpm on my 180mm.) and if you watch the videos, you wont notice that i am using a 180 because it will also depend on your posture and bike fit. Everything has to move & adapt to make everything work. This is one mistake that most consumers commit, not seeing the system as a whole.

hi sir ..can you help me on choosing the best bike size for my height ?im 5'9 and the size chart on internet says that i need size 53-54 ..its my first time using road bike and i dont have any idea about sizes
@CruzControlPH4 ай бұрын
How are you. Would love to help. Though I have to mention right away that height is usually not the best determining factor in bike sizing for Asians. I can only give you a “guesstimate” based on the statistics we encounter on a regular basis. For example Tommy the Tank is 5ft 10 and based on his custom geometry, he has his most optimum posture with a top tube length of 520mm combined with a stem of 100. That maybe a good reference to start with

Every rider you're fitting is too cramped and upright. His chest should be essentially flat and his head should be much lower when arms are 90 degrees.

Why not show us your IBFI certificate...scam bike fitter from the Philippines
@CruzControlPH5 ай бұрын
@@niwrad84 Hey @niwrad84, I appreciate your concern,. As for the IBFI certificate, well, let's just say I believe in the power of experience, intuition, and a little bit of common sense. sometimes the best teachers are not the ones with a piece of paper, but rather those who have lived and breathed cycling for years. So let's pedal forward, spread positivity, and remember that in our cycling community, there's no room for bullying, only room for joyful riding. Happy trails, my friend! And I forgot, thanks for always being a fan and watching all our episodes. It speaks volume.
