I somehow stumbled upon this video. I must say Mr. Cruz had prevented him from making major mistake. 5’7-5’8 rider definitely must choose 49 with 515mm ETT. On 52, a novice or even amateur rider would have done plank on the bike and wouldn’t last an hour before the arms go shaking (he should see Richard Carapaz, Simon Yates, Nairo Quintana). Especially after the covid era, there are really a lot of smarta$$ newbies (including new bike shop owners) acting like physiologist experts / world-team bike fitters trying to give ill-advice about bike fitting, cadence etc etc. This video proved that. Thank you, Mr. Cruz! 👍

Integrating sports into your lifestyle offers a multitude of advantages for both your physical and mental well-being. Regularly engaging in physical activity can help you maintain a healthy weight, reduce your risk of chronic diseases, and boost your energy levels. Sports also promote mental clarity, stress reduction, and improved sleep quality. Additionally, participating in sports can foster teamwork, discipline, and goal-setting skills.

Hmmm why ur the one riding the bike then adjust?
@CruzControlPH2 күн бұрын
Why? Its the professional way of doing it and no other way for artisans. But it’s different for technicians where majority of the session is question and answer and trying to figure out what’s really wrong and requesting them to go back if they need more adjustments
@HyperT15002 күн бұрын
@CruzControlPH professional way?? Who's gonna use the bike? Is it you? If you feel comfortable when you ride it will it be same feeling with the owner?
@CruzControlPH2 күн бұрын
Are you a bike fitter ? Can you share with us your page? Are you looking at the result or that one step in the overall process that you could not figure out and base the entire positive result of the customer experience? This is exactly how technicians converse - Before we go on a decent conversation share your ideas and perhaps we can invite you for a lunch if you are willing to learn

According to Neil Stanbury, if you prefer peddle at reall low cadence, it usually means that your cranks are to long. Obviously both of you are overgeared for that climb.

Idol Cruz, what is the lenght of your crankset arm? Thanks
@walserti226215 күн бұрын
Different bikes have different crank lengths depending on the ride schedule session. For recovery rides we use the 165, for climbs and time trials we use the 180, for regular sessions 170
