As a former track rider since the early 2000's. I appreciate this video. The aero positioning you try to demonstrate is something that took me years to develop and tune. My old track coaches tried to get us to practically put our noses on the stem cap and look into the turn! Riding a fixed gear bike also helped us develop smooth pedal stroke. I alao appreciate the before and after shots. The video on new bike shows a more powerful motion.

Thank you coach for being generous in sharing your knowledge. They are very helpful to your audience, especially for Filipinos who mostly can't afford professional bike fitting. I was able to get the perfect bike size for me because of your videos like this. Other professional bikefitters here in the country are not doing this; they would rather keep all these things to themselves.. just saying!

IMO the saddle is still a touch too high for him. Leg extension is almost straight and toe down. He will probably have saddle issues.

This is a basic demonstration of what it looks like if ever you bought a market/industry bike. And if you are patient enough to watch the complete video you will see the comparison between made to measure bike to the industry made bikes that are not sustainable to the rider. And if some of you guys find it hard to understand, we will encourage Coch Lean to put tagalog subtitles.

I watched the whole video and the saddle is way too high and too far forward, his knees are way infront, no hamstring or glutes engagement. You can easily tell the saddle too high by how he flicks his legs on the down strokes like it was a rubber band. Its supposed to be smooth motions.

why not lowering the saddle on the Canyon? he was overreaching and i am sure lowering the saddle would fix that problem. hard for me to believe someone has $9k for a new Canyon and not another $250 for a fit. i appreciate the work you put into it

He doesnt have any equip of bike fittings sir thats why a lot of his ex client expose him first he doesnt have stem length adjust second bio mech and bike fittings are same sir mito ilagan said that, third why should your bones need to adjust if the bike sizes are need to change to adjust and give you comfort? Hahaha

Because if he corrected the saddle position of the Canyon, they wouldn't be able to demonstrate how industry bikes are "bad" while their custom bikes are "good." Funny thing is the new bike is still not adjusted properly with the saddle being too high.

@@BlueMoonDrinker You nailed it.If the round tubes, separate stems and handlebars, rim brakes, mechanical shifters are your think good news there are many bikes out there for you, don't blame the industry when you buy the wrong bike and check your fit for sizing before , the professionals fitting is the biggest joke, i own several bikes and they all set up differently based on their riding characteristics. I believe educated consumer can avoid these mistakes and stop blaming the Industry . what i find idiotic is advocating for a comfortable position when riding an Aero frame. that is funny

sorry but the more i watch the more confusing it gets, on the dropps he locks his arms, less aero and more uncomfortable, his knees overlap with the elbows too much, can't get narrow in front because has to open the elbows for the knee to go up and down, not everyone can or should ride a aero bike like the Canyon Aeroad, wrong bike choice from the beginning

If you are not racing the best kind of bike for you is an endurance bike because of its geometry. Race bike is usually has a lower front or shorter headtube that makes the dropbar lower. But since it's your money so you decide where you spend it. ✌🏻🤣

I see that the position is aero, but this curved lower back won't be comfortable for a lot of riders. Not only in the lower back but the neck as well. In contrast, if the rider rotates the pelvis forward so as to sit up and straighten the back (thoracic spine even in slight flexion), they will be more comfortable and be able to get some extra power by engaging the glutes. The rib cage will have more room to expand, and the neck will be straighter. This is the way Julian Alaphilippe sits in a seated climb. You can stretch out when you rotate the pelvis forward and still have a good aero position, keeping the back flat and glutes engaged. It may, however, require a different saddle since there is more pressure on the front soft tissue.

Thank you for your comment on my vlog about Atoy's bike fit. I appreciate your feedback and am glad that you found the posture to be helpful in preventing lower back pain and other injuries. As a fellow cyclist, I understand the importance of ensuring proper form and alignment while riding to avoid any unwanted pain or injuries. By the way, may I know where you are from? I would love to hear about the cycling scene in your area and the types of trails or routes you enjoy the most. Thank you again for your comment, and I look forward to hearing more about your cycling experiences soon.

@CRUZ Control hi coach I'm from Malaysia earning in Cambodia. Started mtb in 2012 and later shifted to road bike in 2016 due wrist injury. Have changed several bikes due to back, neck and shoulder pains. Currently using a cervelo size 51and pinarello size 50. Enjoy road riding due to nice roads n jot so stressful on the wrists.
