Most spa pumps do not come with a cord. In this video, we explain how to easily add a plug and cable to a new pump.
We used a 14/3 cable for a 9.5 amp 115V motor. Make sure you select the correct gauge wire before wiring up the pump. The correct gauge will be determined by the amp draw and wire length. Consult an electrician if you are unsure.

I’ve got a us motor model number c55cxxdd-4853 and can’t figure out how to hook it up, it’s got two separate diagrams for a high voltage or low voltage, so can’t figure out which one we should be hooking it up to

"Nearly" what I was searching for, as I want to ditch the electrical tape "water proofing" connection that I currently have where my cord exits the motor. I hope you will consider editing this video with the correct water proof connector similar to what you mention in the comments ("pvc liquidtight connector instead of the twin-screw clamp"). Unfortunately the "PVC liquidtight connectors" that I found are designed to attach to pvc conduit. I found the correct connector by searching for "Cable gland cord grip" Thanks!

I have Hayward super pump 1hp that the motor ran hot. I discovered that the guy who hooked it up for me kept the switch at 230v…I guess it should have been at 115v

You should be using a water tight connector to feed the wire into your pump. The romex connector you show isn’t water tight.

My pump is hard wired to my panel box would I be alright to splice a cable to the pump? Then plug it into a outlet.

I suppose that could be done, but I don't know why it would be advantageous over hardwiring it. Check your local codes to ensure there isn't some ordinance against it.

You discontinued the video that would show you how difficult it is to push the terminals over the posts. Also, you didn't address two speed pumps and water proof seal and the Balboa heater connection???
