There is a lot of misinformation about the NAR Settlement and many real estate agents are wondering how to answer the most commonly asked questions from homeowners and homebuyers. This video shares a few ways to answer these questions with clarity and confidence based on what we know at this time. Every real estate agent should make sure they adapt answers to their own tone and beliefs, but hopefully these examples act as a starting point for you to develop how you will answer these questions.
How to answer a prospective home seller that says, "So now I don't have to pay the buyer's agent commission."
How to answer the buyer or person that asks if you "are worried about your career going forward with the new regulations going into effect from the NAR settlement?"
Here are the three things real estate agents can do post NAR Settlement:
1) Become the most educated real estate agent in their local market.
2) Prepare a Buyer Representation Presentation that shows buyers the value of choosing you as their buyer's agent.
