How to Approach Kourou, French Guyana
This is another video in our series "Approach Videos" in Maik's Nav Corner. This video provides pilot information for those who intend to visit Kourou on a sailboat. We use drone shots to show how the chart images are looking in the real world. For the chart images we are using Navionics, the satellite images are from Google Earth.
As in all our approach videos we start with a general approach briefing, then provide waypoints, discuss possible hazards and provide information about anchorage/marina, facilities and the clearing-in formalities.
