1. Know what you’re going to say. Be conscious. 2. Listen to the people who are articulate 3. Find out whenever the words you don’t know appear. 4. Take some time to write everyday. 5. Don’t say when you’re angry unless you don’t want to be articulate

To your point about maintaining composure. I think it's also important for people to remember that being articulate is not an end goal for speaking or communication of any kind. Poetry and music are incredibly communicative (or can be) even when they aren't as "articulate". I feel like Childish Gambino's "This is America" is a fantastic example of prioritizing the message above how "articulate" it sounds. Another benefit of losing composure is inciting empathy. In your recent review of Ventura by Anderson .Paak, you became clearly emotional about the respect and care put into the final song on the track. Doing so I imagine was for yourself, but allowing yourself to be vulnerable in moments helps remind us that you don't talk about music because you're "articulate", it's because you love music, and you want to share it and talk about it. If being articulate was the end goal, we would all talk like terms of service agreements. Communication should come from somewhere, and being articulate should just be one tool in the toolbox. Loved the video Anthony, thanks.

One of my favorite people to listen to when they speak publicly in interviews and such is Michael Stipe from REM. He has this way of making everything he talks about feel deep and significant, and he kind of imbues a sense of this like, “this is something that won’t be around forever and you should appreciate it while it’s here” to almost everything he’s talking about, even if it’s something that isn’t particularly important or urgent. He doesn’t do very many interviews, but he just sat down with Rick Rubin and chatted for a long time on his podcast and it’s beautiful to just listen to the guy chat. Love Michael Stipe.

This subject is what I believe has drawn me into this channel. I stumbled upon this because of the Radiohead Best to Worst video and found the candor and cadence to be soothing and enjoyable (even though I completely DISAGREE with King of Limbs being ranked worst!). From there I sought out more, with Let's Argue being my favorite segment - even though I don't know half of the artists mentioned. If you ever do an east coast tour (hello Philly!), I'll do my best to be in attendance.
