The Goblin Slayer anime is great, but it's sad to see girls being raped and getting pregnant. I want to know in the manga Goblin Slayer and in the side manga in the first volume, the goblins attacked the village of the Goblin Slayer and raped his sister as well. In the side manga there were three sisters, the goblins tore their clothes and raped them. What is The fate of those girls, as well as the fate of the sister of the goblin slayer, did she die or not?👽💀☠

The first party weren’t just beginners. They were IDIOT beginners. It’s common sense to always have equipment and back up potions. All RPG-players know this, big or small.

Question: How do you can have back up potions and Equipment, when you dont have money? They sayed at the beginning, that they can not buy stuff, because they didnt had the money for do this. The biggest failure was, that priestress was to slow and splitt up in two groups. They had all, what was potential needed to clear the quest. The meele could had protected the mage after her first shot, so, that she wouldnt be stapped. The guy had maybe survived, when they had 3 dd for the attacks (a problem was, that the other girl didnt fighted as soon as she had do it). Maybe they had beaten the big one with spells attack and healing for the first fight. The schaman would be a other challenge, where they maybe had lost (based on, how the first fight would have ended and how many spells they had after this). But, all what they had needed was, to survive the big one. Because gs would showrd up after the fight and helped them. The sword was a error. But one, that GS had doing to. The biggest failure was simply, that they was seperated, because of piestress.

@@hasseo195 bro they should've known that the place was in a cave, they shoukd've brought smaller weapons like a small wooden club and should ask experts that kniws goblin that doesnt treats goblin like pests, because this csn give them an upper advantage and wont underestimate the goblins and also invite 1 expert to guide them in case anything went wrong. The fact that they dont have basic common sense is ridiculous and dumb.

@@suckz_4852 “invite one expert”? You realise that someone isn’t just going to volunteer to help them. An expert costs money, money they, as established, don’t have. And saying that they’ll pay after the job is done is stupid because who would do that? They’ll ask upfront because what happens if everything goes wrong like it did, who’s going to pay the expert?

@@suckz_4852 asking for advice is one thing, but only an idiot assumes they'd be able to invite someone they don't know to join them as per Reidy's logic. In universe goblins are also so annoying and disgusting that anyone with experience just avoids them, plus, unless you actually experience fighting in a cave, its entirely possible to not keep weapon range in question because it requires prior experience, and some caves would have enough room

Basically, even a weak ass opponent can become strong with overwhelming numbers and underhanded tactics. If you don't want them to grow into a problem, wipe out the pest. Every last one.

One of the biggest dangers about Goblins is how humanlike they are. There are much stronger monsters but most of them are just big dumb animals.humanlike species are more dangerous because they understand war and tactics they don't just stumble upon humans and kill them

Funny thing is, most of this can be boiled down to "Do what goblinslayer does" The mans an expert on goblins (duh) and has built everything around killing goblins effectively and in great numbers. He knows everything about the goblins from the main strengths and weaknesses, to the more subtle ones like how they wreck blades with their blood. Ive always been a fan of the idea that the guild should pay its expert members to write up guides for specific creatures for a nominal fee. That way they can go "Ok look, its your first mission fighting firbolgs, read this manual, it covers the dangers of the monsters and how best to fight them." I bet the survival rate of new mercs would go way up if they had it all spelled out for them.

Hol up! Why the fuck hasn't Goblin Slayer written a book and published it!? He could save thousands by simply writing a book about goblins, but apparently he just wants to save hundreds by simply killing goblins himself

In the prequel series "Goblin Slayer Year One", he does a quest for a woman who stockpiled books with tons of valuable info. Avoiding too many spoilery details, he is rewarded many things including her stockpile of books which he donates to the guild library. He may not have written a goblin book but he has provided a large amount of information already.

Turning a goblin's blood into water is a no-no ... BUT grinding a goblin into paste between to shields gets a pass (this is the most direct one ... When she is supporting Goblin Slayer's plans, things get creative).

The show's light novel actually mentions Priestess attempting to use purification on blood to turn the entire goblins' circulatory system into water. But her goddess actually denies the use of that due to it's inherently cruel and broken nature and nearly lost her ability to cast magic as a result.

You know what would be an interesting dynamic to introduce to the show? Kobolds. I think Goblin Slayer's opinion of them would actually be positive, since they are a natural predator and enemy of goblins. The problem is, most people view kobolds the same way most people view spiders, and thus try to squish them when they shouldn't. While kobolds ARE responsible for a lot of adventurer deaths, it's usually out of self-defense. While it is true kobolds will steal shiny things, this usually happens due to their own justified biases against 'tall folk'. They don't actually need to steal if they have access to their own metals. Tragically though, Kobolds are targeted whether they stole their riches or not, as it is incredibly profitable for an adventurer to raid a kobold nest. If people would leave them alone, or even offer tribute to the kobolds, they can turn friendly, and be a critical ally against the goblins. Alas, people's own biases usually result in the death of kobolds, which drives them closer and closer to extinction, and thus magnifies the goblin threat as a result. Moreover, due to the continued persecution of kobolds, kobolds will seek ANY ally to help them live...even if that means signing up with the badguy, thus perpetuating the negative stereotype.

A thought occurred to me. Could the guild offer quests to the kobolds?? The reward may not even have to be coin. They could possibly even take shiny buttons as payment. Even Goblin Slayer can't be everywhere at once. There would most likely have to be a liason though.

She hesitated because she has a spell limit, so blowing a spell on light would be stupid if he couldn't kill all of them in time. If some random dude told you to fire one of your two shotgun shells into the air, what are the chances he knows you already fired one and will be out of ammo afterwards? You might hesitate too.

It's something she could only use twice. she stated that in the first episode. she had already wasted one of her spells on healing the woman who couldn't be healed because she was poisoned. so she had only one spell slots left and he told her to use light. meaning that if anyone was injured she wouldn't have been able to heal them

If I recall correctly Priestess didn't know purification at the time of the fist Ogre fight, and using it on a living being was prevented from working by the Earth Mother(her patron goddess) which almost resulted in her being cut off from use of her miracles.

Very simple. A lot of prep work. If you go alone, always be over prepared and never underestimate the goblins. If you go in a group, be very aware of the terrain, and your strengths and weakness and never drop your guard. Only bring the strongest and most capable females that can also handle themselves if you get separated because the goblins will go after them first. And it isn't sexist, maybe don't bring females at all. Dude's just get killed. Woman get far worse

And how did you want to do prep work, when you dont have money for doing it? It is a world, where goblins are one of the weakest monsters, you can meet. They are not stronger than children in most cases. And they are like rats in the numbers. The people didnt take them serious, because they know much stronger evil. It is like to say, that you would do many things, before you Beginn to fight lvl 1-2 monsters in games. I had the same result as this group in witcher 3, when i fighted the first random enemy, i meet. I thinked he was week, because of the lvl. But didnt know how to fight this enemy And was beaten really fast. More or less the same as them. With the difference, that they losed, because priestress was so slow, that they was seperated. Maybe they had survived, if they didnt had losed one dd at the first moment

@@hasseo195 The difference is The Witcher 3 is a game. You get hit, it's just a health bar and stun lock. You get hit in real life, it hurts, you bleed and depending on where you get it, it could be a fatal one shot hit. The whole lesson in Goblin Slayer is there are no levels in the real world and even the most experienced adventurer can get mobbed. In the big episode where the Goblin Slayer got the entire guild to assist him in defending the farm, the expert adventurers were throwing everything they got into the fight. Sure, they were killing them in great numbers but it was a wave battle and attrition, just like in real life. There is no stat system in Goblin Slayer. The reality of the show is realism. In real life, you fuck up, you die and when you die, it isn't some epic glory. You die hard.

Great video, some little nitpick 13:05 They aren't combining the spell per se Dwarf Shaman cast Stupor to make them sleep Priestess cast Silence to make no noise 27:40 The G.Champion didn't die here, it just retreating 31:59 The mirror isn't destroyed, GS and the gang cemented and drown it under the sewer Keep up the good works

That eye monster is more commonly known as a beholder. A giant eyeball with several (up to 10) eyestalks, capable of seeing all directions and casting a wide array of magic spells. If you play RPG/dungeon and dragons/forgotten realms games, usually a beholder is enough to send everyone into a panic. Can wiki it for more info

I feel like if a town has a full on militia that is trained and uses the Macedonian phalanx alot of the issues with the smaller goblins and most likely bigger goblins would be mitigated as there would actually be structure and order.

I say something like langxian would do better against goblins rather than a pike, use have trenches around villages or fortified villages like in medieval times designated village bunkers etc.

Macedonian Phalanx works well with regular practice and highly standardized equipment on open fields. I'd say your more typical shield wall with mixed melee weaponry and ranged support is more realistic for both towns and villages. Shields, helmets, and padded/chain armor go a long way historically.

@@VioletMilks defenses can be made really easily and punji traps could also be utilized. And if they really valued survival then i think the towns people could muster up a sizeable militia. Maybe not full on phalanx at the beginning but you work up to that.

I mean, I understand the perspective of the video but the answer is fairly simple: If you’re goblin slayer, research how to avoid being ambushed because goblins rarely have extra armor. As shown in the series, as long as you are able to avoid surprise attacks, you become the one to be feared. If you’re another adventurer, stick with a superior (Slayer himself, ideally) and do everything you can to avoid being swarmed. If you’re able to survive long enough to rank up, then it’s hopefully not your problem anymore

The problem with the goblin quests in GS is as long as their leader isn’t a shaman, you can’t really be prepared for everything. Sure, in most cases it’s not a problem, and the most dangerous thing is a Hobgoblin (the big goblin) but it was shown in the novel, that they don’t have any problems with working for some other creature, as long as the creature makes them fear it. It can be anything up to an ogre (and portal scrolls linked to the ocean are rare) or even a goblin cleric (Well, theoretically it’s the demon who’s the chef, but the cleric is the enemy you’d have to kill). But yeah, in most cases it’s just goblins who aren’t experienced.

First episode of castlevania on Netflix is 100% the most brutal opening episode I’ve seen on an anime. Dracula literally teleports his castle into the middle of and summons hell on a whole city. Half the episode is just watching his hell beasts brutally ripping apart women, men, and children. Castlevania actually has crazy impressive fighting animations….especially when Trevor Belmont uses his chain whip. Some of the best fight animations I’ve ever seen honestly. It sucks the show got cancelled because the creator or something was a pervert…If you haven’t watched castlevania yet I HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend it. Just a warning the first 10-15 minutes of the first episode is really weird and off putting but just push through it and the rest of the show is fuckin amazing. Favorite anime I’ve seen in a long time.

Thing about people underestimate goblins is the experience adventure know how dangerous goblin are but they relucant to take a job because the payment didn't good enough for their risk. So goblin quest will be like arookie killer quest in Goblin Slayer.

They really should use poison in their weapon since if you can cut a big enemy like goblin champ ork or goblin lord which won't go down easily plus it would be useful against orks since with their regen just their just gonna heal but with poison you can just wait it out or run away until the poison takes effect tho such a big enemy would need a large amount of poison to kill them

The background art for Goblin slayer is more watercolour painted/digitally painted because it is common in studios to make it mild costs as possible so the visuals can create the story to fill in the gaps so explaining everything is too time consuming and time skipping to the scene makes it less stressful

When you look at rookie swordboy before he gets killed you can tell that his sword was not meant to be swinged it is clearly a thrusting sword. SO clearly he didn't even practice or asked for advice before buying it (just another reason why he was killed first). Long sword are meant for swinging and thrusting. Rapiers are made for thrusting katanas are made for swinging.

1 Making swords rust? That just adds tetanus damage! Making goblins drunk? That just makes them angrier!! 2 If you want to convince people to fight for you, you could send in blond girl or elf girl (depends on acting skills) shouting "help me! There are monsters coming to attack tonight!" You can't say that they're goblins because adventurers underestimate goblins and the girls cus obviously. Also saying tonight instead of tomorrow dawn is better because you'd be better early then late. (Edit I just realized how people talked about the tetnus, I personally don't know how the rust happened so I did an assumption that it fast forwarded the or something, it's dumb I know but it's cool 🤡) (Edit 2 yeah they might be cold blooded or something but there's a difference, as a guy said adventurers seek you and you seek mercenaries. Also if a small girl (blonde one) ran in to the police station (a stretch, I know) and screamed "help me there's crimanal coming tonight! And they just go "pay me or beer" that would be…eh?)

He says this _literally_ a split second after High Elf Archer closed her mouth in the anime(s.) The scene in the anime(s) where she closes her mouth and he tells her about the countermeasure; is the same scene that is shown at the 8:56 mark of this video. Granted, Oversight is a thing, but in this instance? Come on. Really dropped the ball there. Watch the anime(s) and you'll also agree that they really dropped the ball. I'll even provide where this scene takes place: Episode Three, 8:30 minute mark. Now to post this, what has turned into a tirade, amongst other comments for ignorance triggers me.

A card that has area of effect (AOE) can easily take out goblins. Ex. Baby Dragon is an are unit and spits on AOE fireballs. And since the goblins are ground units. Baby Dragon will win this interaction. No problem just some CR tips.

To be fair, for the first boy.. getting shorter weapons might not be an option.. weapons seems to be pretty expensive or something newbies like him and his crew might not be able to leisurely afford.. However, if I was him I would use it by the scabbard (hold the middle of the sword with the scabbard on) as means of makeshift shield/extra protection in the cave the moment I realized (cuz I was the newb kid) it's not fit for the environment... Then I'd use the torch as a club like GS would... I mean, even GS had his learning period.. the kid's fault's more on his inability to adapt than him making a mistake any newb adventurer might do... PS. Knowing the real paranoid ass me tho I'd go straight to GS for actual tips first before taking goblin quest.. and probably ask any other veterans before going on any quest related to their specialties.. PSS. Like how I ask a grad/senior student for tips in choosing professors before selecting their class.. best tip was my bro's advice to choose deadliest thesis professor so they'd roast me in the making of thesis instead of in the judgement day.. hell, my thesis proff (was the deadliest) and she defended my thesis for me against her friend/colleague (also one of deadliest proffesor). Thanks bro & Ma'am.. PSSS. Do your research kids!

Coming from a HEMA practitioner, I can't say that I overly appreciate your analysis of the longsword. You just categorize the weapon as a weapon used outside and stop analyzing there. Clearly the kid had swung multiple times successfully before he got careless and accidentally hit the ceiling. There are multiple scenes in the show where there is enough room to maneuver halberds, let alone longswords. Furthermore, longswords are great against multiple and unarmored targets.
