they nerfed the grabnoids too. hell didn't those things get smarter as the first movie progress. as they kept trying to get them to eat the pipe bombs they wise up and stop falling for it. Guess they were killing them fast enough

This. I feel like Burt only got a 3.5 for nostalgia reasons. In the old movies he gets a 4 or 5, but in these new movies he behaves like he's never encountered graboids before and definitely deserves a 2 for ignoring old methods that obviously worked well when he knew exactly what he was going to be facing.

Don't know about the plot, but I always find them more enjoyable with decent CGI... and it's still the same thing, there were a lot of references to the older ones. The creatures are also the same, so idk what you've got to complain about

It does have one thing going for it. Which is that the in-game currency is given out. It's not as pay to win as almost every other game out there. (I'm looking at you diablo) The diamonds can be got in enough amounts that I haven't actually paid for anything in a long while. (Which I only did ONCE keep in mind.) So you don't technically need to pay and just save. This naturally puts you behind the whales, but it isn't as bad as a lot of the other games. (**COUGH** Diablo) Yes the changes to the models are bad. Everyone in the game hates the change and wants it back. But you DO get the resources back when you reset the heroes. Not the upgrading of the heroes. (Making them have more stars.) but the gold and skills that you upgraded are refunded every time. I would like a way to reset the star level. (marriage would be a great way to get this done) and a way to change the gender of a hero. Which would be far better. I've got one hero that I can't level out anymore because the female version I have is basically rarer than rare. EVEN the lower tier ones. I think it's rarer than even getting the legendary rarity of a hero. I haven't noticed that much of a balance issue. But then I don't really care about PVP at all. The campaign is long and extensive and scales in power in relative amounts to how you play. Another grief is leveling equipment, that scales far too much in materials and gold. The gold leveling for heroes also gets ridiculous after a certain level. I'm not saying it is the worst game ever. Nor the best. But it is a mobile game and honestly better than Raid honestly enough. Which I've played as well and that had a campaign you breeze through fast. So if you like a story, this is your game. Honestly speaking its the most enjoyable mobile I have ever played. I like having a harem and I worked quiet a lot to get one of my favorite characters.

Completely agreed! Personally, Tremors and Tremors 2 are really the only ones I still consistently rewatch repeatedly. 4 is still enjoyable to me, and 3...well, besides it feeling like a SUPER cheap, borderline spoof, and it being the beginning of Burt Gummer's 'Flanderization', still felt like it at least still had the heart of the original in it. The rest of them...meh. I don't begrudge anyone for liking them, and won't deny that they have their merits, but they just never landed with me at all, and without Burt would have felt like an entirely different franchise altogether (again, just my personal opinion)

Honestly, Tremors 2 (Aftershocks lol) is probably my favorite of the series.

I don't think it's the best but I did like them all as I grew up watching them. It's a fun stupid series to sit down and enjoy

One of mine too but I don't consider anything after the third cannon. After they abandoned practical effects for CGI the whole series went to shit. Whether it is acting, writing, plot, it is all just shit after that film

Yeah I was going to say that. It would be an easy mistake to make since they are both exes of Burt and there's likely no way that Reba is showing up for part 7 so it would be reasonable to assume that she was recast.

Shriekers might be deaf but if you remember when they start shrieking they give of heat to help tell the other shreikers. These shreikers been modified so it might be safe to say they might have hearing

Yeah maybe. They tend to not fall for the same tricks multiple times though. Tremors 2 has Earl and Grady basically using explosive bait and that works pretty well for a while. The problem is, what is poisonous to them and how do you get enough of that in them to actually kill one? Then, how long is it going to take to be effective because all these movies devolve into a fight for survival very quickly and relying on poison to kick in wouldn't be great in that situation. If you just mean the shriekers and not graboids in general though, they've been shown to eat whatever is handy with reckless abandon so you could almost certainly trick them into eating poison bait. But, like I said earlier, what will kill them? We don't know.

@@CeeJayThe13th they could use a bottle of mercury or cyanite and see if the Graboid has a respond to it after eating it.

@@luisvelez1952 oh yeah definitely! But that wouldn't be great as a survival strategy if you're fighting for your life if you don't know it works beforehand.

That would keep you from dying immediately during the movie, but that wouldn't stop the graboids from getting off the island (they did) and from then spreading throughout Asia. It might not be the end of the world, but it would still be 'winning' for the graboids at least for the movie purposes.

They made three new ones recentishly (they're not good). There was also a TV show back in the day with Burt that was pretty fun.
