Tip for anyone buying this case. If you don't have a PSU, consider getting an SFX. It does take a standard, but I went with an sfx and it leaves more than enough room to hide your cables, extensions etc without interfering with airflow

Building right now, (Dec. 12th, 2023). The NZXT | KRAKEN Elite 240 RGB will not fit with an MSI MPG B650I Edge WiFi Gaming Mini ITX Motherboard with AM5 cpu due to the fans not clearing the massive KRAKEN pump. I solved the issue by drilling a few screw holes into the Tower 200 radiator bracket so that the radiator can mount closer to the glass front of the case. Not ideal, but it works. I'll post any other issues I run into... I'm still enjoying the build so far. I posted a short of the completed build.

How many case fans can this support? That's the issue I'm running into right now - trying to figure out which panels can hold fans and which sizes. It appears the back panel and top panel each come with a stock 140mm fan but I'd like to incorporate another for intake somewhere if possible. Otherwise, stock setup with an AIO would have 2 AIO fans for intake (pulling across the radiator), then two 140mm fans (top and back panels) for exhaust. Unless I'm missing something? Is there room on the bottom panel for another fan? 120mm or 140mm, if yes?

Good vid! A nice lady's voice is always more pleasant. The AIO should be rotated though so the hoses are at the bottom of the radiator, so any air in the AIO system doesn't collect at the hose/radiator connection. (There can be up to 10% air within an AIO). Top mount radiator is probably best, cuz heat and air go up, but you do you. Thanks!

In terms of surface space it takes up, it's certainly on the smaller side. But the 200 is a bit longer vertically. The Tower 100 might be slightly better for this, depending on what kind of hardware you want to run of course.

Won't the cooling be very poor in this PC because of negative air flow? There's only 1 fan for intake (behind the case) and 3 fans for exhaust (1 on the top of the case and 2 on the side mounted radiator radiator) so there's negative pressure. How is this solved?
@ThermaltakeAustralia
@ThermaltakeAustralia 8 ай бұрын
Hey Frank! So, we actually have the 2 fans on the radiator set to intake, due to using our SWAFAN EX swappable fans. This is to take advantage of the chimney effect airflow that all our Tower cases utilise, pulling in air from the sides and bottom, and exhausting it out the top. Thanks for watching!

Question. How does putting a slightly larger MATX motherboard decrease air cooling benefits where this case is perforated everywhere? That statement makes no sense. That said, I have this case and yes, I have a MATX motherboard installed. There IS a cable routing hole if a MATX board is used. A grommit there would be nice though. You may however, have to remove the GPU support bracket like I did. Since i don't plan on moving the PC from place to place, this is a minor concern. Nitpicks aside, This case is well built. The ability to take the side and top panels off without a screwdriver is amazing. Airflow is simply outstanding and including two140mm high quality fans is a great addition.

Nicely done. I just got the 200 myself as I am getting ready to upgrade my Plex server. However, I believe you could run into some problems with your AIO. This is a common mistake from AIO and case manufactures. The AIO Pump/Tank should never be mounted on top. For side mounting option, the tubes connections should be down. The Pump and tank should be at the lowest point. That will prevent air from going in the pump. Mounting it the wrong way will cause cavitation noises, (gurgling/Waterfall) performance issues, shortening the AIO pump life or killing it prematurely. kzfaq.info/get/bejne/eMh3otCnlp-Zo58.htmlfeature=shared

As long as the pump is below the top of the radiator (the highest point) it will be fine. There’s several videos out about how people have misinterpreted the advice on AIOs thinking that if the tubes are at the top it’s an issue. It’s only an issue if the pump is higher than the top of the radiator, which it isn’t in this build
