Cool only problem is you failed to say turn off water supply unless you want it to spray out like a fire hydrant 🙃 all good my filter is changed now..

That just happened to me, had to stand on a chair and use a rubber glove to twist. What a pain in the keister but it finally released

I wish the changing of my filter was that simple. I haven't changed it in a couple of years because I can't get the filter out. So, what do you do when the filter is stuck and you are unable to turn it without popping off the water filter housing?

Took us several hours to take it out. It's not true that is easy, any time the filter needs to be changed we end up calling service. $50 filter and $100 service that is damn expensive dill. Who design it?

@saurabhbhasin8068 Double check to make sure the control lock wasn't accidentally activated. If it's not locked, then you may need to remove the filter and try to install it again. It's possible it's just not seated properly inside the filter housing. what if you try to replace filter and you can't turn it?

@edwardmaryliw4479 It often takes more pressure to turn than you might think. If you're turning it very hard and it's still not budging try turning off the water supply to the refrigerator and pressing the dispenser button until all the water runs out. Sometimes that relieves enough pressure to make it easier to turn. If that doesn't work, you may need to consider setting up a service call.

I’ve seen a lot of people say if it’s too cold it gets stuck. People were saying to use a blow dryer on ir. When mine was stuck I used a hot rag and held it on it for a couple minutes it twisted right off. Now I just need to figure out how to make water come out of the dispenser again 😅
