Just remember if you buy a .30 cal suppressor and use it with smaller calibers it’s not going to suppress as well as a designated can for that specific caliber.

My buddy and I got our suppressors at the same time, I went with an OSS 5.56-K and he went with the SilencerCo Hybrid-45 because he said it's "more versatile" but what he didn't expect is that it sounds like crap on all his rifles (he only owns 5.56 AR-15's) Long story short, don't fall into buyers remorse, "specialize, don't generalize".

One thing worth mentioning is that if you use a 45 cal can with 9mm you're not getting peak efficiency due to all the extra exhaust gasses escaping. That's extra reason to consider having specific cans for specific purposes

Oh, Midwest Gun Works, thanks for your last KAC suppressor for my Mk.23!

You can get suppressors with end caps for caliber specific to get most of sound reduction possible. Buy a can for .45 and get end cap for .45 and .355 to use with 45 and 9mm. Change cap before shooting or have a bad day. Same holds true with buying a 30 Caliber can and an end cap for 5.56.

I think I will purchase the 30 cal & .45 acp cans QD for my rifles.

The tighter the tolerance the more effective the can is. Example. If you put a .45 suppressor on a 9mm. More gasses escape down the bore. But when you use a 9mm can on a 9mm the distance between the bullet and the baffle is closer making it much more efficient and effective

You remember the late great Jeff Quinn here on YT? I saw a video of his way back. The title is “the perfect suppressed 22rifle”.check it out if you want..the shroud being considered part or the barrel was the most interesting part of that gun. But I m not sure if the same rules apply now that did them. & Im guessing there are some better products out now & maybe different way to go about building a trickled out little 22 & or .17. .thanks for the info. Really helpful. If you do see that video & know a better way to go ,or a better company or something, I would appreciate your opinion. Your in the industry & all. I don’t have a AR Or A AK either. I am interested in suppressors for my collection and stainless steel seems best for my needs. I was wondering if anyone is using Inconel as it's thermal characteristics are superior at a thinner/lighter construction and can handle large volume/rapid fire situations...not that it's a big concern for 99% of use. Are you aware of anyone using Inconel or is it something I'll need to fabricate?

Another thing to add is that the pistol cans, when attached to a pistol requires a piston, even if direct threaded.
