Bro, my pc turns on but the display remains off.. I have to long press the power button to switch off and switch back on to have the display work and when it does, it goes to the recovery screen displaying error code:oxc0000225 I have tried my best but it's not enough. Am thinking it's the OS though I have reinstalled it a couple of times. Can this be fixed?

Smoothing the curves, which you did, makes the fan speed increase less noticeable. Using fan splitters, which you also mentioned, is also necessary sometimes. All in all, a great video. I enjoyed it very much!

Smooth the curves? WTF!! Fan curve literally applies to the physical shape of the fan/fan blades. Since he did not twist, reshape, or bend the fan/fan blades to change their shape then WTF are you using the word curve for? He didn't change anything
@arealhamster Жыл бұрын
@@TLgamer_TL I'm not quite sure you know what a fan curve is. A fan curve is not the physical shape of the fan blades, but rather a graph set in the BIOS to match a temperature to a desired fan speed. This person is talking about smoothing the curves, referring to making the fan speed changes less sudden so that it gradually ramps up, making the changes less noticeable in terms of noise.

Nice guide. I've been running like a '3 temperature' fan curve: 1 for idle, 0-50degrees - with maximum rpm before the fans are audible (usually 500rpm, so % depends on the fan - lol Noctua A12x25 can be 1000rpm before they get loud, no reason to run any lower) 2 for load, 60-70degrees (for my workload, gaming) where the fans aren't too loud and can handle that load (usually 1200rpm-1400rpm) 3 for max cause the motherboard forces it, 100% fan speed at 75degrees... Works great! But I found it depends on the fans you use (obviously) and where they are placed - fans right by a filter can make a strange sound for example while fans behind a radiator are quieter. Also added fan 'ramp up/down' settings so CPU has to be a higher temp for 2secs before the fans change speed, stops those annoying sounds when its just doing something like loading a webpage.

Thanks for making sense of all this! I have a question - should some fans be dependent on the GPU temp instead of the CPU temp? For eg. The lower front fan’s air will be aimed more toward the GPU, so should it spin up when the GPU gets hot instead of the CPU?
@theTechNotice3 жыл бұрын
I wouldn't since the CPU temp cripples system more than GPU temps. Most of the time GPU is not 100% utilised where's CPU can be :)
@TheEthNick3 жыл бұрын
@@theTechNotice Ok thanks. I ask because I’m seeing temps of over 90° on my new 6700 XT whilst benchmarking/gaming. (These are normal temps apparently). & the exhaust air feels very warm. In my setup, the GPU seems like it gets warmer than the CPU (Ryzen 5 5600X with after market HSF).

You want to keep the pump at 100% no matter what you’re doing to keep the liquid moving. It’s even advised in the BIOS to leave it at the default setting. Adjusting the fan speed on the radiator is fine though.

There is literally no connection to a fan running and a temp. If the fans are running at 20% (Whatever that means) then it won't ever hit 50% (Whatever that means) There is no connection to anything.
