Chill on bro. There’s this huge fascination to have that reddish center but not everyone takes there steak that way. Even if he didn’t do it intentionally I’m sure anyone would eat this. All I know is that steak is definitely delicious. Good job, and great filming. Never seen this grill before.

Medium. I like rare

these were choice steaks so i went for a more done cook

Looks good, next time I would sear the steak at the end though. The meat will absorb the smoke better and deeper if its raw. You could also cold smoke it if you really wanted that smokey taste to hit stronger.

I do it both ways and havent really noticed a difference to be honest

Good job if you like your steak medium

Why are you saying it like THAT????? 🤔 Is there a problem with medium 🤨?
@CS-zn6pp8 ай бұрын
@@youngtc7754 Depends if you like rare or not. Personally, I would consider that steak as overcooked but it's a matter of taste.

@@CS-zn6pp i usually cook to rare but these were choice steaks and went for a further cook. But best believe im making my wagyu finishing at 125F

This is fake. The grill is brand new. This is a advertisement

The grill is brand new but there’s nothing fake about it. All was cooked on the grill. You can see the grates get dirty
@bentleyfatheree16168 ай бұрын
@@BBQFriend I should have said it different. I know you cooked the food on the grill, but I believe this was an advertisement for the grill. It takes Several cooks to learn your pitt.

@@bentleyfatheree1616 Once you know how to cook a steak and your temperatures, you can cook it on anything. Give me a gas grill, charcoal grill or fire and a metal grate and ill make it the same. So its not about the grill being new its about knowing how to use the tools you have. This grill was brand new but had a lot of great features that made cooking a steak this way very easy.

how to cook on a gas grill... not everyone has charcoal or smokers. If you saw my channel youd see im not usually on gas. As for overcooked, its not. first the coloring of the video is washed out, it was pink and finished at 135 for medium. it was a choice steak so i cook those a bit further
@brianchampaigne54908 ай бұрын
@@BBQFriendI wouldn't even consider that medium. 135 is that perfect balance of medium and medium rare. Fuck these people they all cry about how other people cook knowing they can't cook themselves . Keep doing what your doing.
@Wingman8138 ай бұрын
@@BBQFriendwhy would you cook a leaner piece of meat further? So it’s tougher to chew? That makes no sense. Beef is beef. It’s all raw meat. Let me guess you’re thinking you have to cook sub-prime beef to a higher temp to be “safe”? There is no “you don’t have to cook lesser quality to a higher temp.” The FDA guidelines for doneness are based on a protein regardless of quality. You overcooked this steak. Looks more medium-well to me.
@BBQFriend8 ай бұрын
No i just find that choice steaks dont have any where close to the same amount of flavor as a prime and wagyu. So i prefer choice steaks to be cooked further. Never said anything about safety its called my personal preference @@Wingman813
