Do you have these instructions on a pdf form so my dad can read the steps as he doesn’t know how to watch a video and complete the task. The pictures are helpful

Unfortunately, we don't. However, you could take screenshots or use your computer's snipping tool to essentially take pictures of the screen at the important parts and save them to your computer. Thankfully, creating a Medicare.gov account is pretty straightforward. :)

I've been enrolled in Medicare since Nov. 2023, the first two claims from two different provider have been deined and on top of that Medicare is saying No claims were submitted. I have Medicare claim numbers and Medicare denial code for both claims but yet Medicare refuses to acknowledge there is a problem. Also the claims when to my Medigap plan and they aslo denied based on what Medicare did.Help

There are three possible issues going on here: 1.) Your Medicare isn't really active...possibly due to not paying premiums. I doubt that's it, though. 2.) The claim was submitted properly by your provider, but the service you received wasn't a Medicare-covered service (or you just haven't met your Part B deductible yet). 3.) You haven't updated your coordination of benefits with Medicare...making Medicare your primary insurance. This happens a lot. You leave prior insurance from an employer and Medicare typically defaults to secondary. But when you come off that prior insurance, Medicare needs to be told they are primary now. Call Medicare's Coordination of Benefits department at 855-798-2627 to get that cleared up...removing the old insurance from their database and make Medicare primary as of Nov 1st, 2023. @@MedicareMindset Thank you . I will call the number you provided also there was a problem originally because I am disabled so 2 two years later I got enrolled in Medicare, but there was a problem with my master benefits record, which I think is the cause of the problem. Thank you

I've read in multiple places that I can go to my Social Security account and get my Medicare number. I can NOT find it and absolutely no one mentions where to find that info. Telling me to go to my social security account just isn't enough info. This is taking days NOT 5 minutes.

The easiest way to get your Medicare # is to login to your SSA account and click on "Your Benefit Verification Letter". Then click the download link on the next page. This will open a PDF document that summarizes any benefits you're receiving, such as Social Security and/or Medicare. In the Medicare Information section of the letter, it will show your Medicare #. 11-character mix of numbers and letters. We have two videos that specifically show you how to do this...
