My attempt at suspense: Mrs Meistmann was the happiest and the proudest one could be at 48 years old. Her precious son, had just turned 20 years old and already, at his first year of medical school, was trusted with cleaning a skeleton for stringing up, alongside his classmate and girlfriend of three years. 20, two decades old. It seemed just like yesterday he was a small boy hiding in her skirts. She had to make this day special. Right afterwork, she went to a high-end grocerie store to buy the necessary sushi rice, mussles, shrimp, mascarpone, wine, agaragar, jam and cake ingrediants. Her husband also decided to buy an electric lunchbox as a gift, so he wouldn't have to rely as much on unhealthy takeout. The water beneath her fingers was now clear, and satified, she had set the rice to the rice cooker before taking care of the other componants of the birthday supper. She had started cracking the eggs, seperating the whites from the yolks. The recipe called for five, but she made sure to have an extra one for the custard and icing she planned to add on top. She was about to crack the thid egg when she received a phone call. Rapidly cleaning her hands, she picked the telephone. She oh so expected it to be something like: "Sorry mom, but things are taking longer than expected." But, the number indicated on the cell phone was not the one of her son. It was the number of the city's hospital. Yet, she swiped right. A cold, professional voice spoke out of the phone: "Mrs Yumiko Meistmann, née Tanaka, I have the unfortunate news to tell you your son, Yuuri Hans Meistmann, is dead." How...How ? Did he overwoked himself ? Why did she pressure him ? Instinctivly, she dropped the phone and fell to the floor, staring blankly at the wall in front of her. Margot was so tired, tired, tired. After the death of her husband, she had lost shortly afterwards her esteemed colleague and mentor. Now, on her autopsy table was a young man of twenty years, an expression of terror frozen on his face that would only find peace after decay would reclaim its rights. His documents and facial featured showed a half-german, half-japanese origin. It was those strangulation marks that had been the strangest, as they seemed to have been caused by hands in an advenced stat of mid decomposition, about 12-15 days after death in the cold of early winter. She took some of the fluids that covered his neck for later DNA analysis, and, when the results came back, she thought it was a hallucination. The DNA corresponded with that of...Her late husband. Seeing this, she had to be hallucinating. The stone, she must get rid of the stone, the ametyst stone he wanted her to through in La Manche as his last wish, which was found in his sternum. If she would to through the stone in the garbadge, would the trashman also not end up dead ? For now, it had been in her possession, and she was still alive and relatively healthy. That was the way to go. She had to at least try ? Cordelia would have just wanted to crash unto her bed after school, but that day her aunt was coming home, to prepare a picnic feast in honor of her father. The menue: rice, chicken sandwitches with homemade sourdough, nice fatty chicken broth, seasonned mushrooms, lactic acid fermented garden vegetables, nutritional brownies with fruits and nuts, seasonned vegetables and mushrooms, hot cocoa and tea. For her little brother, they both decided to treat him to some sushi rice and shiitake mushrooms, he seemed to adore. They weren't willing to risk eating raw fish in the middle of a national park, so shiitake mushrooms in soya sauce was the next best thing. Despite it's abundonce, the feast was not going to be waistful in the slightest, which was nice. As she was taking apart alongside her aunt Josée a roasted and boiled chicken breast, she asked: "Yesterday, I had a big fight with mom. I'm so sorry for it. I keep seeing a strange man in my dreams. He's dressed like in the XVIIIth century, sometimes all alive, sometimes as a skeleton. I really wanted to research this at the local university, just to check if I'm going crazy, she said no, and I argued back. I really shouldn't, and I know she's dealing with a lot...Am I bad ?" Tears pooled at the eyes of the teenage girl. She was oddly founding. "It might be just a strange way your brain processes grief. I hope so at least. I recommand saying sorry to your mom as soon as you have the chance." Cordelia felt stupid...It probably was just that, plus, strange happenings always went when she left the school bus or went to the store. Honestly, she no longer felt safe in the city, and she did thought her mother was right...But, she had to be strong, not show vulnerability. She had to be strong, for herself, for mum, for Nicolas. Yes...Strong. She knew already a few people died from whatever tried to retrieve her stone. The stress from school, the parting, the honorary mass. She lost a lot of weight in this short period of time, allowing a bump, similar to that her father had, visible in the middle of her sternum, just like her father had. Lately, her back had also been sore, raw, blistered and irritated, and she never managed to sleep on her back like before. She hid it from her mother, who was already worried so sick she had yesterday lost a large chunk of hair..Speaking of her own, her sore back made it difficult to use hot water for shower, so she havent't washed hers in almost ten days now, making her appear frumpy, much to her mother's displeasure. She was supposed to be an example to her younger brother, her classmates, the pride of her family, she couldn't be seen walking around with dirty hair. Keeping it in a braid did make it manageable, but her bangs were harder to control and hide de greasiness. But would she be able to hide her back problem in the promuicuity of a winter tent ? While the two kept cutting and shreading the chicken for the sandwiches. "Usually, I would advise against something this rich, but, it doesn't make sense counting calories while doing exercise all day in the cold, up to a certain point, of course. I brought you a too an extra hot chocolate. said Josée -Hum...Thanks...I'm a bit too old for this kind of drink, don't you think ? By the way, I didn't have time to properly thank you for that scarf you made me last year. Super warm and pretty ! I really like the lilac pastels." Josée smiled. It seemed so silly to her, a sixty two year old, hearing a teenager of sixteen talking how they don't want to be percieved as a child. At least in Cordelia, it made her more eager to eat her vegetables and to enjoy bitter, "adult" flavors, although, they had to be careful about her abusing cafeine.

You always have so many amazing and creative ideas for comics. It's always a pleasure to watch these lists. :)

I'm unsure if you would describe it as thriller, but unspoken dissidence is in more of a black and white with some coloring. While mainly to help emphasize things that will become relavent to the story, the coloring in a characters eyes or having an "aura" means that they are hiding something. Or that someone is watching them...

Because of the messed up rules in this world, his looks, intelligence, manipulation, he's so hard to defeat
