Love this video so much. I would have payed double and triple that for this "drum patch". Just one additional question: The click is pretty aggressive 😅 We used something like a clock sound. It there a possibility to change the sound in your patch in my downloaded folder?

Great video and I am a newbie to Ableton. What would you recommend for setting up a full show of songs with various tempos? I currently use the loop feature but like to coordinate more intros and special sections of the song with a count off. I look forward to your response and how can I get the click and queue pack?

If you are using your own custom tracks or tracks purchased from somewhere online, they should include count ins so that when you import the track into your session, you can hear the count in as soon as you hit play. As far as the queue pack, you can get this from loopcommunity.com/en-us/shop/band-cues-3

This is awesome! though I'm concerned how to do this with more complex songs that have a variable tempo like say Iron Maiden or RHCP or other bands ... could it be done? would you need to slice the song in different parts to make a custom click for the parts?

You could do this, you would just need to automate the BPM of the session to match that of the track you are using!

Yes you can, the same way you would pan any other track in Ableton!

Hey Matt, I've purchased the LC Click and Cues pack, but they aren't showing up under the drum rack folder under presets like you said in the video. The folder with the wav files are in my downloads folder, but when I try and add that folder under the "places" area in Ableton, it imports a single track with intro/verse/chorus all in a chain, and not separated out with the numbers like you have. What am I doing wrong?

I have purchased it, I needed to open the LC CUE PACK 2.0 ENGLISH.als, this open the drum rack at the bottom in Ableton Live, then I clicked in the diskette icon for save in my user library folder. I hope this help you.

Can you drag and drop the midi for click and cue into session view just like you draged and droped the audio file from session to arrangement view?

When I click the "tempo" button top left it changes the playback speed of my audio track. What setting do I need to change?

You will want to make sure that you have Warp turned off for your audio tracks if you want the track to remain unaffected. Let us know if you have any questions about that!

Make sure that you're allowing enough time before the tracks start for your click and cues mappings to properly count in the intro!

You can create a Click Track in the Prime App by selecting Add Song > Add Click Track. However you aren't able to create a Cues track. This is something our team is looking into though for future updates.

Hey Chris, That was not our intention. We created this video to show how to create your custom click and cues using the LC Cue Pack. The pack makes it easier than having to record your own voice for the cues. If you wanted, you could record your own cues in Ableton and then set them to where you wanted the same way as with the cue pack. Let us know if you have any other questions, we are happy to help!
