Tools used in this tutorial:
Custom brushes: Using the Brush panel, found under the Window menu, you're able to create custom brushes by altering the size, spacing, dynamics, scattering, and so on. If you plan on using your custom brush in the future, make sure to save it!
Layer Styles: If you're looking to add effects to your layers, you'll likely want to use Layer Styles. Whether it's an outer glow, a few shadows, or a bevel to give it depth, the possibilities are endless!
Blend If: The Blend If sliders, located within your Blending Options, allows you to gradually blend out shadows or highlights, from the greys, reds, blues, or greens on the selected layer or of the layer below it.
