There is a very very important step you guys forgot to say, before plugging in the angle grinder, you must check that the power button is totally off otherwise if you plug in the angle grinder it could start violently and get out of control, anyway thank you so much for the video....

I'm always checking that for some reason If it decides to start running I'm off to another continent I dont want to be anywhere near a plugged in gridner running at 850W

@@ThatOneOddGuy Thats great. Just try one with over 1000W. They are the best.

Oh my! Most the diamond blades and cut off discs make sparks. I like the fact the blade you using doesn't sparks while cutting, can anyone tell me what is the blade model is and where to buy it? Thanks

I think it's aluminum and aluminum doesn't spark easily

Actually it sparks. If segments of blade contains too much iron, it may spark easily.

Every abrasive throws swarf, some with sparks. WEAR EYE PROTECTION. I prefer clear face shields. I use Jackson (online or at welding supplies) though Uvex make some beauties.

Isn't sparking on a diamond blade while cutting masonary a sign of a dull warn blade?

Surely the RPM on the disc should be greater than on the machine, probably not an issue with cutting disc but maybe with grinding discs. If the RPM is greater than capacity on disc, it's more likely to break.

I don't agree with using the grinding handle to press down when cutting.

I'm an experienced welder with formal training, after which I worked in a welding school and also took care of OSHA compliance. The operator in this video is cutting correctly. Both hands are the best way to control the grinder with any accessory, be it cutting discs, wire brushes, grinding discs, cup wheels or flap wheels. He is not twisting (easy way to break discs) or forcing the grinder. Anyone doubting this is free to refer to your grinder manufacturer safety instructions, you accessory safety instructions, and your appropriate safety methods and practices reference for your country!

Only for dumb people yes.

Not so dangerous with this type of blade... I might not be so eager to put a wood cutting blade on it tho
