I used diy detail water spot remover on my ceramic coating that I thought had failed for over a year and wow it completely restored all of my hydroponics. I swear to God, if you think your coating has failed, try the water spot remover first

I have a new vehicle and just purchased the 5 year coating I am happy with the condition of the paint. So for this process after washing the water spot remover off what is the best method to dry to reduce marring as I won’t be polishing ? Thanks for any info

Use DIY Detail Rinse Less Wash as your drying aid

You can spray it with Rinseless and then dry the vehicle with a microfiber towel like the one from DIY Detail or from The Rag Company or from Autofiber.

I have an ‘04 similar to this one! Beautiful car. Mine has a Paxton Novi blower. I love the wheels on this one. The black section above the exhaust is a must with black wheels. You did an awesome job on this car! My car was covered in pollen today. I did the foam, rinse, foam followed by a contact wash. Nice and clean.

@@diydetailofficial It needs a light polishing and a re-coat. October 2020 was the last time it was coating. After seeing the hydrophobics on Pan’s new Porsche, I may have to try that coating!!

My car has been polished a few times with Menzerna SIP/Nano/PO85RD. I’d be afraid to use a wool pad. I’m sure My clear is VERY thin. Yellow waffle should do the trick.

Qick question Yvan, just before the claying stage, did you leave the suds from the wash stage on the car as a lube for the clay cloth? If so, does the suds not affect the concentration of the iron remover?

Yes it’s left as additional lubrication. No it’s not enough to have an effect

Idk if it’s just my phone but the frame rate looked choppy on the “B roll” shots. Idk if it was slowed down from 24fps but make sure to use 60 for the slow motion shots!

Hello DIY Detail I am 14 and starting my own car detailing buisness i've been looking into rinceless washing for a quicker wash on detail's .I have a question like when you pre spray with a sprayer or keg sprayer it is efficent . But I wanted to no if I put it rincewash in a foam cannon turn the nob so mostly water comes out and pre soak/spray it that way then come with the wash sponge and start washing. Would that be a efficent method.

Unfortunately not, look at options that don’t require a pressure washer. I started when I was 12, and had I had access to Rinseless Wash I would have been enthusiastically using it.

If i got 15mm and i want to got the same result as with 21 one, Should I work with the section 2 times instead of single one (i mean work the polish, wipe off and polish again) or just try to work with it longer i mean do more passes. Also, when do you all think the gold standard waffle, 5.5 in will be back in stock? I have everything else I need to get polishing, except the pads. I'm dedicated to the DIY Detail polishing system and dont want to change pad brands.

I noticed when both of you were polishing the hood, Yvan's polisher looked like it was running a much higher speed than the other guy. Did he have his polisher speed set too low?
