After having a single Kcup maker for years we craved a pot being made on the weekends. Researched a bunch of models and choose this one. kzfaq.infoUgkxL8yFdHfPF4ObeIwJ5JdM3i_9XLnbjUC2 We love it! We wanted a water reservoir for the single cup so we didn’t have to pour water in every cup but the other models it fed the water to the coffee pot to so by the time we made one pot we’d have no water left. This model has the traditional pour in feature for the pot and the reservoir for the cup which works great for us. Love how there is a bunch of holes pouring the water over the coffee, makes it taste much better. Only drawback I have is the way the lid is angled on the pot section it’s hard to get the last bit of water out of the pot into the machine without it spilling somewhere else.

I have always used straight white vinegar (I let it sit for 4 hours)...descaled it like clockwork..and I JUST had to throw away my Keurig 2.0 after TEN years of use

I really need some help. My descale light came on, but it wouldn't pull enough water for descaling to work. Only like an inch of water. So I used the paper clip trick to unclog the needles. Now it's not pulling any water 😢

I am unable to run the Keurig water through the pot threw into the pot it shows a red light for the pot of coffee. Does that mean I have a major problem

I ran the Keurig solution through the carafe and it worked fine - it had always worked. But the K-Pod aide still doesn’t work AT ALL! I guess I just call Keurig. But a good video thanks 😮

Just hold down the red carafe button when lit up. It will turn off the heating element.

Before you dump the vinegar down the sink put some baking soda in sink and sanitize sink DO NOT FORGET TO RUN HOT WATER FOR 5 MIN AFTER LETTING THEIS SOLUTION SIT FOR A FEW MINUTES or it will stop drain up.

Dear Just a Dad I have been trying to descale my Kduo with no results. I can run the cup side but when I try the carafe side only one ounce comes out and it just times out. I've tried numerous times and have run the descale it overnight. Still will not run the pot full. I have also tried to just reset the machine with shutting off the descale button with pressing the 8 and 10 cups. It still will not shut off. I have this problem whenever I try to do ghe descale. Can you help very frustrated me? Calling Keurig does no good. Please help! Donna

We have a water softener on our home. Do we really need to descale? I also use filtered water from my frig. and reverse osmosis water from the sink. Do I need to descale?

Yes… we use filtered water as well but it still builds up and needs to be descaled 💁‍♀️

I have done this, but at the end where you say to leave it on, I don't have an on/off on mine so I have to turn the cups light off all the way so it doesn't burn up. Is that okay?

I see this comment alot, I am just not really sure, This could be a known issue Keurig has with this model of Keurig. I would call Keurig Customer Care at 866-901-2739.

I tried to do this. For the k-cup worked fine. It was able to dispense the vinegar/water solution. But the carafe, it would start but then stop like after a minute. I had to press the start button 4 times in order to get it to fill to the 6 cup mark. It was fine working yday , could it be the vinegar acting on it ? Thanks

Wow, not sure about that. I am glad it is working ok now. I don't think It would be the vinegar but maybe it cleaned something on the inside.

@@JustADad you know, I ended up just walking away and letting it sit for the 2 hour wait time , and when I came back, it work like if nothing had happen . I was able to fully rinse the k-cup and the carafe 4x. Everything working fine now. Just brew some coffee ☕️ thank you for this video.

Same thing happened to me, but I think it was too much vinegar which may have clogged the insides. I found this video and did the 1:1 vinegar/water ratio and worked like a charm!

This also happens to me😢 I turn it off and on so many times that I lost count. Mind you it works fine when I’m making my 12cup carafe it’s only when I decide to descale it with vinegar that it acts up on me

Mine cuts out when my screen says descale. I try and descale before it asks me to so I don’t run in to that problem

How do I turn off the auto - off function?... Mine turns off after a couple minutes

Great Question. From what I am reading on line and from the manual you can not turn the Auto off feature off on the K cup side. If you brew a k cup the machine will turn off after 5 min. If you brew a pot of coffee the coffee maker side stays on for 2 hours to keep the coffee warm then turns off. I know on some other keurig machines if you press a couple buttons together you can turn the auto off (off) but from what I am reading you can not do this to this machines. Thanks for Watching!!!

I had the auto off turn off the machine too after 5 minutes when the hot plate was turned off. My solution, I emptied the pot, filled it with fresh water and left the hot plate on for 2 hours.

I'm trying to descale my coffee pot. The K cup side works, but when I try to brew the 6 cups in the coffee pot, only a little water/vinegar solution comes out. Any suggestions?

I have the same issue with mine. I put a coffee filter and some clean rocks in the carafe side and sometimes that works. I think it’s sensitive to weight? Usually there are coffee grounds in there to weigh it down but when you take everything out I think it doesn’t work. Not sure though, it doesn’t always work when I do the rocks either and I just end up getting frustrated 🙃 but worth a try?
