Thank you! Very helpful! Some instructors insist on heels to the floor. It’s great to hear that isn’t necessary to get the benefits of this pose.

I used to have "love/hate" feelings towards downward facing dog, but since I have been practicing with Sarah Beth going on two years, it's not as challenging. I appreciate it more because I consider it a good resting and transition pose during Yoga practice.

Im really glad someone has been doing something like this. I started doing yoga about 2 years ago but im not flexible and wasn't doing poses correctly and can't follow vids that don't have a substitute or explanation. Since very few vids do the latter, I stopped doing yoga but stayed subscribed to the channels I liked best. The tutorial vids have been very helpful. I do an alternative childs pose and last night I noticed I could lean forward further. Keep it up and ill keep following for more tutorials. Anything connecting to hamstrings is where my biggest challenge is. ❤❤❤

If I'm overly flexible (hypermobile) and my heels go to the mat super easy, no problem, should I be lifting them up OFF the mat to assist with engagement and reverse the overstretching? 💙
