I just don't understand why we are commenting negatively about her body. It's one thing to say she looks healthy and fit because a) that is a nice compliment about something she obviously worked hard for and b) she is living proof that the exercise we need instruction in (hence why we watched the video) is indeed effective. But to say things like "she is too muscular for my taste" or "she has ruined her body" is irrelevant and rude. She did not put in the effort for a another's opinion, she did it for herself. She posted this video to help others, not for others to criticize her body. Yes, everyone is free to express their own opinions, but there is common courtesy to consider. Generally, if you follow the three guidelines--Is it true? Is it kind? Is it necessary?--then we could avoid negative comments.

I think she looks terrific. But even more importantly, I love her videos because of the total lack of BS. The are concise, to the point and she explains and demonstrates them very clearly. I use a variety of sources when I'm researching exercises but Livestrong and this woman specifically are always on my list of places to check. Completely respect her.

I have just discovered her videos. As a beginning weight training person, these are great videos for me: Short and to the point, easy to understand, great directions with emphasis on correct form over weight....Like the emphasis on adding the weight later, when the form/technique is perfected...Well done !!!

After a very serious Motorcycle v Car accident, my bike, I left hospital after 13 weeks with near zero muscle, a little developing on my legs after learning to walk with crutches. Since I've been home I bought a resistance band and then when I actually started to see results I started using some old dumbbells. I didn't think I was doing tricep extensions correctly so on to KZfaq. This video was a great help to correct my mistakes. What a Lovely Fit and Well Defined Young Lady. She explained it accurately and spoke clearly, and I'm sure there will be more that she can help me with. I'm a skinny Old Man and I don't want to watch Young Blokes with Mega Muscles lifting huge weights. Thank You Michelle.

What a great workout video. Simple, accurate, instructive, and to the point. I can't stand the videos by those guys who use loud, grating music splash screens followed by goofy background music while they speak. They could take a lesson from this professional.

Best addition to our mini gym! I was originally going to purchase several pairs of dumbbells, but upon doing the research, the money I would spend, and seeing how much space they would take, decided to buy these. I have been using them almost daily and I enjoy them. It does take some getting used to when changing weight, but nothing crazy.

That was an excellent explanation. Thank you! I've tried doing tricep extensions with just my right hand and using the left hand to steer the dumbbell clear of hitting my head. Then switch hands. All the bodybuilding magazines say it's best to vary the exercises so the muscles don't adapt to a routine that's always the same.

Muscles don’t equate to combat prowess. Some of the most dangerous men on the planet have less muscle mass than she does. Large muscles are actually a detriment in fighting because they require use up more oxygen, excessive muscle mass is actually a disadvantage to your stamina in a fight. Better off being lean and mobile.

It should noted that this is a advanced exercise! It is one of the most dangerous tricep excercises you can do along with skull crushers for many reasons. With that being said, it is also one of the most effective. Using the proper dumbbell, form, and weight are CRUCIAL.
