You file the BVS at different times depending on the court. However, I always file it in the beginning of the divorce. It the BVS is returned because your court has a policy of not accepting it in the beginning then you wait until they say it's okay for you to file it.

Hi, I filed for an uncontested divorce with no children in the harris county district clerk 2 months ago. I paid extra fees for a personal constable service to hand her the original petition to sign. surprisingly they told me that I should have to fill out another form called "request of issuance" I think. Can you help me find that form? should I just fill that form out and go back to the court and give it to them? I don't know what to do...

When writing up my final divorce decree, do I need to include anything about child support or visitation? My husband agreed to the divorce but I never filed for child support and don't plan to. Do I need to? He got deported shortly after we split. I doubt I'll ever see him again after this.

The Judge is going to want to see that child support is included in the divorce decree and therefore may not sign off on your decree if support is not included in the decree.

Hi Mechelle! It sounds like you might end up having a contentious divorce. What are your plans if the doesn't want to sell? My suggestion is that you have him to refinance the house and pay you the portion of the equity you deserve and let him live there and keep the house.

If she signs the waiver and doesn't sign the decree you can sign your name and move on to a final hearing and submit it for the judges signature.

Did the Attorney General author need to be involved in an uncontested divorce without children if existing child support orders are not being modified. The existing child support orders it's for a child that is now an adult the payments that are still being made are for back child support

Unless you adopted your stepchild you will not have to pay child support. Unless you put your wife on the deed of your house, the house is separate property.

Hello Bea! It doesn't matter if your spouse lives in another state or country. If you file in Texas and in the county you live in then you can move forward with the divorce.

I filed myself and asked for a court date, but they asked me for the final decree, How do I fill out the final decree without a court hearing? I have everything else done. And also gave them a copy of all the domestic violence documentation.

Fill out all the sections with the information you know (except for the part that says it's for the court to fill out). Form has to be completed before the hearing - it's what the judge will look at and approve/sign to finalize divorce.

@@Greatness-nb9kl, I finally figured out that we are pre-filling out the final decree in anticipation of the court date where the judge signs. It looked like it was asking for a hearing that took place before this court date, so it is confusing to folks who are new to this thinking that we are supposed to put a date for a hearing that hasn't even happened.

You said he got married again while he's still married to you? He either married illegally or he filed for divorce and divorced you without you knowing about it. I would check the county records first and see if he has already divorced you. If he hasn't then I can help you get a divorce from him.

Hello Fury! Yes you can definately file an uncontested divorce in that manner, however there are some other key issues that you will have to navigate. Are you currently pay child support through the AG office?

I have very serious doubts about the first time I hired *usespy online* to help get electronic evidence. I am experienced in law enforcement, my family is a law enforcement family, and I have access to the Internet just like anybody else does.
