In this #atlassian #jira video, I am going to show you how save money by managing your users in Atlassian. Atlassian cloud subscriptions are not cheap. Not reviewing your users can lead to unnecessary costs that could be spent elsewhere. In this video, I give you some helpful tips on how to manage your users more effectively. Cleaning up your user list is a very good practice as it not only helps keep costs down, but also helps from a cybersecurity perspective. If someone leaves your company/team, their access should be revoked to minimize the threat of that person doing something bad in your Atlassian ecosystem.

I added a user to Jira Software by this view but, he can do things like modifying the workflow, etc. which is not his role! Suppose the users I want to add to Jira Software are the Dev Team, How to add them by only allowing adding user stories (task, sub-task), moving state in kanban board?

A colleague has left the organization and I am unable to filter issues that were either created by them or assigned to them. Could you please help me?

If you are a site-admin/jira-admin you should be able to go to the gear -> system and scroll all the way down on the left to filters. From there, you should be able to update the owner of the filter to you . . . or someone else.
