Thanks you sooo much for this video. I was so tired of curling my hair and straightening it and I could never achieve the look I really wanted. I ran out and got me a curling iron like this one and LOVE it! Game changer!

Your hair always looks beautiful! I am wondering if you would do a video on how you trim up your own hair.

I have one of those blow dryers that resembles your thermal brush. I use it on mostly air-dried hair or on slept-on hair that I've dampened with some water and heat protectant. For me, it works well for smoothing my waves/frizz and bending the ends. (It doesn't blow the hair around too much--the brush holds it in place and the heat from the barrel seems to do most of the work--so it works pretty much like your thermal brush does.). Thanks for your tutorials, I always learn something that helps me look better!
@fishie0139 жыл бұрын
+Michmash I agree, I use my blow dryer brush quite similarly to yours!!! I let it air dry or dry the next morning after spraying a protectant and then run through with the blow dryer brush. I'll roll it up, let the hair heat and then turn it off to let the hair cool. I get great volume that way and less frizz :-)

I really like this one. I use the two inch barrel rod and get so many compliments from this do. I am going to try a few of your up dos and twists and see how those go. Thanks for sharing with all of us!!

I love watching all your videos! Since you cut your hair at home, would you ever film it? I'm a professional stylist also, and I also cut my own hair at home. I would love to know if we had the same techniques

Another great video! I'd like to see a video about how you style your hair to last all day. Maybe you could follow up at the end of the video to show how it held up throughout the day!

Hey Kate, you have no idea how much I enjoy your videos!! I cant't describe it- it's like watching "a good friend" :) But you also helped me: after watching almost all your videos I know now that I'm not satisfied with the hairdressers I had before :) No one gave me tips or really cared for my fine thin wavy hair (and hairloss due to permanent medication), I only get the tip to use daily the GHD on my waves and that ruined my hair :( Perhaps this brush isn't as hot and "aggressive"? Please keep making videos as often as you can with your 2 little boys :) Love from Germany!

I have short hair, and I use this thermal brush. I wash my hair the night before an let it air dry. It looks so bouncy, and it only takes me 15 mins, as opposed to the 45 mins it used to take me to blow dry. It also looks better than when I blow it out! I love this brush!!

Hello! This is such a beautiful look. I've learned a ton just from watching two of your videos. I have naturally curly hair, so I'm always intrigued by the straighter styles. The color and sheen just pops using that brush. I ordered another paddle type brush (and it wasn't cheap) but never quite got the results I wanted. Guess what video I'm going to check out now... ;() thanks so much!
@rondaherriott8 жыл бұрын
I ordered that thermal brush and just got it today. Where has this been all my life?! I used to use the air blowing version but always needed to run a curling iron over it after. You should get kick backs for this because I'm about to get one for each of my girlfriends.

Great video. I used the Instyler brush iron (bristles are plastic) and doesn't have the chrome base. It didn't work so good. That just slides right thru my fine hair. Maybe that one would work better for thick haired ladies. Looks like Hot tools makes a similar one like this brush for 45

Another great turtorial! I like how how give options for those who don't own a thermal brush. For my curly, short hair, I use a volumizing spray and a regular curling iron. Not a bad result in the end ;)

Great tutorial thank you! I have fine and thinning hair and I love the blow out look on day 1. For day two so far it's been impossible. I was going to purchase the Stylus until I watched your video. For a voluminous blown out look do you recommend the Amika or the Stylus? Please help thank you so much!

I love the result and how you lightened up your hair is very pretty too. The process seems still a bit time consuming to me though? ❤️
@MissEugeniaS8 жыл бұрын
indeed, you can't have a good result without time investment, but this technique takes at least 30% of time away. plus you should use 1 instead of 2 tools (hairdryer and brush) to create necessary tension and hot air circulation. And seems hands will get tired much less as i have abundant thin hair which are not easily managed.

Why fake it? I wonder if hairdressers charge too much in US. (I honestly don't know) In my country you can go to any hairdresser and get a perfect blow out for less than 3 $ in 20 minutes. (And normally a person wouldn't do it every single day so it shouldn't cost too much I suppose.) Just got curious.
