Irina, Thank you! Your message very much resonates to the core! I also find myself in the analysis paralysis state. When I come across what I feel is a brilliant actionable idea, the first thing that pops in my mind is reading thoroughly about it, watching videos and so on. 😄 I think that this tendency stems from basically childhood abandonment trauma. Its more like, the subconscious is saying - if I fail, then all love and affection will be taken away from me. And that is a survival threat for a helpless child. I am focusing on reparenting myself to overcome. Perhaps that resonates with you..? One big takeaway for me is about the redefinition of success. I recently started my own KZfaq channel on what I am really passionate about. But I do tend to get caught in the - partial reward addiction loop - post video, keep looking at views, not see much progress and then immediately start working on a new video which may boost the views. Repeat. This is again also applicable to our relationships. Unfortunately, if we are conditioned to unsecure, unhealthy attachment, we do the same thing to ourselves as we grow up. This loop is another manifestation of the same thing. Enough rambling... 😄 Now, I will also define my success as posting a video as the process is something that does excite me everyday, to share my knowledge with others. I have spent many years dealing with rejection. Rejection is an internal belief about what you THINK others think about you. The truth is people are NOT thinking about you, they are generally self absorbed thinking about themselves. We must learn to realize, what we think others are thinking is almost always wrong. Our thoughts and insecurities lie to us. We must learn to catch those thoughts and replace them with empowering thoughts. We must learn to manage our own hearts and emotions. We can be our own best friend or worst enemy. We become what we think about all day long. Good, bad or otherwise.

Very wise words! Thank you for sharing your experience. I agree, oftentimes our relationships and interactions with others reflect our insecurities back to us. It’s less about what the other person thinks, and more so what we believe to be true about ourselves.
