Coolant leaks, How to find and repair a leaking water pump. In this video I show you the proper steps to find out where your antifreeze leaking. Suggest you apply pressure to the system then look over the complete sys. This is a Dodge Ram 1500 with V8 Hemi engine but the same diagnosis apply to all cars and trucks...

yea mun,A engine thats overheating will not last long at all and because most of todays engine are aluminum, its extremely risky to let them overheat

Yesterday my 2004 Ram 1500 was overheating on the way home from work. I stopped to let it cool down and to check the coolant level, when I opened the hood I noticed that it had dumped coolant onto the fan and it was EVERYWHERE. Hoping I can find the leak after work today, thanks for the video!

Another good video . I think my heater core is going I smell anti freeze sometimes and once in awhile condensation on the inside of windshield overnight...what do you think?

Hey sorry im just seeing this..Yes if you seeing steam and condensation inside on the windshield ide suspect thats your heater core starting to leak..Thanks for watching buddy

I have the same year and I’m starting to smell the fluid, did you ever find the location of the leak? And where was it? , thanks.

@@benblanco9142 I never found any leak, I topped up the fluid and it never leaked again. I believe the previous owner overheated it from towing and the dealership and myself never checked the fluid levels. Sorry I couldn't be of any help.

yes my friend. If you suspect any kind of coolant leaks, the best way to find it is to pressurize the system. Sometimes you can get lucky with a good visual inspection and can see where the leaks coming from
