The IKEA Marcus chair after some time of use as an office chair becomes noisy when sitting on the chair.
Office chair making noises is common and trick will work on any office chair but the mechanism will be different on your chair most likely.
It makes creaking and squeaking noises and this is easy to fix with a Vaseline spray in the right places.
When opening the chair spray a decent amount of Vaseline - you don't want to do this often.
After spraying, assemble the chair back as it was and use it as a normal office chair for a few days.
At the beginning there might still be some noises coming out of the chair but eventually they will go away.
Spray the office chair mechanism inside at all parts that look like they are moving.
