That second tip was a god send, two of my controllers had HORRIBLE stick drift and then i used some cologne and q-tips and they both worked wonderfully, BLESS YOU👏

@@Edward-ho2bm oh my Darwin no. Rubbing alcohol will evaporate, water will ruin your controller by making connections where there shouldn't be any, once voltage hits those, you're fucked. Plus it has a battery inside, even if you didn't turn it on once you put water in it, of the water managed to make contact with the positive and negative battery terminals and make them connect via the water... Anyway, no, can't use water to fix your ps4 or any electric parts, ever. Rubbing alcohol, it's less than a dollar. The higher the number the better like, you can get 70% isopropyl alcohol or 90% isopropyl alcohol, you want the 90. It will evaporate more quickly.

Good god, where were you all my life lol? I CONSTANTLY battled this on my PS4 with BOTH analog sticks drifting (or I think my controller smoked some mad meth and made my character sprint during an entire play-through). I’m a heavy Fallout 4 freak and THIS always annoyed me. If my character wasn’t running like he’d been hopped up on chems, the look/aim would act up constantly (even when in settlement mode) where I’d be able to seamlessly look to the left but when it comes to looking to my right or trying to look up/down, the damned controller becomes self-aware and has a mind of it’s own. XD

It's only a very temporary fix that lasts a day to a few weeks max. This ultimately helps nothing.

@@Cessate the reason the blowing method works is cause you’re blowing the dirt and stuff out so obviously more is gonna come back eventually

@@ronnyt4318 You're not blowing it out though. It's still IN your controller. Again, it's a temporary fix; but ultimately it doesn't actually fix anything. It's like using plastic to fix your smashed car window, instead of getting it replaced (or in this instant, actually cleaning your control).

I should probably get a new controller first before I try to spray the perfume directly INTO the controller i have now But I'm retarded so imma do it .. I'll tell you guys how it went Edit: uhmmm I still have drift, not as bad- btw this is 2 minutes later 🤠 2nd edit: so uh I sprayed a SHIT TON of perfume in my controller and it's gone THE DRIFT.. ITS GONE THE PAIN AND SUFFERING IS FINALLY OVER Now I know what to do when my controller magically has drift again

My controller has drift when I play fortnite and when I run on Fortnite it runs slow. On black ops I can't run at all and on the ps menu it goes up and down by itself which doesn't allow me to press the option I want to press

@@brownie678 I think it's just your controller or if you did the rubbing alcohol trick then maybe some alcohol got in the controllers parts
