I picked one of these up that was bad from the factory but also had stayed in the box longer than the warranty period. I tested each and every LED and every single one passed! I was scratching my head, reassembled the whole thing, and it started working! Must have just been one of the little connectors inbetween the LED bars needed reseating. Now it works just fine! Thank you!

JB weld light activated worked for me. It was SO easy. My samsung diffusers with not fitting tight, and superglue did not hold after 12 hours. The light activated was sold after 10 seconds.

Excellent work, a question: what adhesive do you use? Do the lenses have a specific position? What is the blue device that you use and for what? What type of leds are ... What are the characteristics?

you welcome , see description for the adhesive ( blue device ) and also link for smd led ( 3030 6volt ) , the lenses have specific positions and you can't know it if you found the lens disconnected, you must try the 3 position and see the good one ( the light must be not Dispersed) .

thank you for this video , I got white spot on thr screen after replacing LED'S lenses , I think it was because of the wrong glue I used it called (Permatex super glue gel) , I thought it is good adhesive to use as it's heat resistant, but unfortunately it will damage the lenses while drying on them making them foggy, I wonder if your UV light heat resident and doesn't make a fog after drying

I had the same problem, in every led I replaced, there is a whiter spot afterwards. I thought that it was because of bad position of the lense. I used superglue, maybe its the fog that the glue causes like you said.

no todos los leds trabajan con el mismo voltaje o corriente, debes tratar de usar unos reemplazos de igual características o los mas similar posible. para ello mide el voltaje de los led de un foco, asi sabras si el voltaje de operación es similar al que necesitas. debes tener algo en cuenta, el driver encargdo de alimentar los ls tiras led hace un monitoreo constante del consumo, cuando halla anomalias puede suspender la alimentacion a las tiras led. hay un video con este nombre "De que VOLTAJE son los LEDS de un TV ? como saberlo sin datos" te puede ayudar

@@repoapps So the thing is not so easy. After one day use, the picture went off, but the cause are not the leds, because the display is bright (it looks like I would watch a black photo on TV). Do you have some idea what can it be?

I like the video, however I am not sure of the longterm positive outcome, for if all the leds are in series and only 1 of them has to fail again,arent you back where u started ? Wouldnt it be better to replace all the strips so u know you have same life for all the leds ?

Your right Peter, led has life span. This is a good video but i recommend to replace all led bids or much better all the led strips. I do this before and in my experience some fail in a couple of months. I dont want my customer to get mad or thinking that i did'nt replace the component failed. Now i always replace all the strips. No more failure/back job. Customer satisfaction is our goal as a technician not only for earnings.

Nice video! I have an LG 32LB552A model. Does it also use the same 3535 6v LEDs? How do I find that out? Same problem with the one you are repairing and the TVs look identical even though the model numbers are different. I just need the specific LED bulb model number to be able to replace it. Quando eu trocava leds, usava essa cola que para mim, foi a melhor para esse serviço, para colar os difusores de luz que ficam em cima dos leds. Mas hoje não troco mais leds, apenas o kit de barramento completo do tv. Antes, havia retornos por causa de leds que não estavam queimados e, aos olhos estavam bons, mas estavam surrados e com o passar do tempo, também se queimavam e o tv retornava dentro da garantia, mesmo reduzindo a corrente do BL. Com a troca do kit completo e reduzindo a corrente do back light, não tive mais problema de retorno.

يعطيك العافة معلم انا صار عندي قصر بالمجموعة LED شاشة SAMSUNG وقالولي انو هدي الطريقة مو فعالة لان احتمال كبير بعد فترة ترجع نفس المشكلة وقال بدن يحطو مجموعة جديدة من LED غير موديل الاصلية لان عنا بسوريا مافي هدي النوعية وبدن يثقبو القناع من جديد شو رأيك بالموضوع وكيف فيك تساعدني احكيت باعربي لان سامع صوت TV عربي وانت من اي دولة؟

Hola buenas , he cambiado directamente las tiras LED por unas nuevas, con soporte de aluminio.El problema es que vienen sin adhesivo y el adhesivo original ha perdido bastante adhesión.Hablé con el vendedor de las regletas y me dice que cualquier cinta de doble cara , sirve para pegar las regletas al chasis. ¿Opinas lo mismo que cualquier cinta de doble cara sirve para fijar las regletas al chasis o tiene que ser especifica con alguna con alguna característica en concreto? Gracias , un saludo.
