Sir,Is it necessary to put Radial and Axial Guage together at only 12'o clock position . if I fix Radial Guage at 12'o clock and Axial dial guage at 6'o clock will it help me with Rim and face formula method. Thank you

Sir during dial indicator checking. You told one bolt do to loose and get reading from dial gauge 0.1 is ok. My question is loose means fully loose or partially loose the bolts from motor casing.

Yes one by one we need to loose fully then only you will get exact softfoot.

Why you take 0.1 mm as master level ,is it necessary to consider every time during soft foot check?

Because its is the lowest value. While measuring time assume that one of the leg is zero. Then this method is not applicable.

Why we are checking soft foot only in motor base ,why we don't check pump base

Normally pump suction and discharges are attached with piping so we will keep it as stationary machine always. Then motor we need to keep as movable machine. So from motor only we can able to check soft foot. Normally pump side while doing installation. They will check pipe stress, support and flange gap everything as per the standard recommendation. QC also will confirm according ly.
