Cool fix. I had the same problem. But all I did was flip the fork around and threaded it back on. So it looks like the fork is upside down.

The tool is a great tool when it is adjusted correctly. With all the comments made about the fork angle, I am a bit surprised that Summit has not fixed this issue!

It's still cheap so it's not that bad just adjust the forks.

Thanks for this. I just bought this tool and it came with no instructions. From your video I can see how to use it and lock it and what to look for as far as centering the fork to get the keepers on. I will try on my Ford 289 with stud rockers.

i tried this trick but my heavy BBC springs keep bending them back ...... mines a MOROSO tool but they are the same
