do you eventually see the dashboard after letting the Xbox boot for a while?

@@TweakTips I did everything. I resetted it. i turned it off and back on and still no splash screen. I was about to just clone my HDD to my SSD, but I thought before I do that I was going to try to do a total console reset and wipe everything to see if that would do anything and oddly enough It worked. the splash screen came back. So I don't know why your method didnt work for me. I followed your instructions to a 'T'. I selected my xbox version and copied the file to both my A and B folders in my system update like you said to do and everything else. So, I don't know why a total console reset worked, but it did. Now, what I'm puzzled about is if I hadn't put those files in and did a total console reset would I have gotten the splash screen back. Or were those files only recognized after I did a total console reset? Also, my drive was diff than yours. There wasn't a system update 'x folder'. the A and B folder was on system update 'I' folder instead. I don't know if that has anything to do with it, or if the recent xbox updated os changed something or what. All i know is that it now works for some reason after doing a total console reset.

TweakTips I don’t get a black screen at all or boot screen at all. It just all turns on right away. Should I consider myself lucky?

Yes there is just wait for another xbox system update and it will reinstall the boot animation

HI Deja.. If you are using a 4K TV, the minimum standard is 2.0 or higher, however, the 2.1 has a higher bandwidth than 2.0, so if you have the option, it would be better to use 2.1.. If you are not using a 4K TV, you would be fine with 2.0 and not notice any difference swapping to 2.1

Open windows DiskManager, right click the partitions on the drive and click "Change Drive Letter or Path" and assign it a drive letter

Hi Deja - Just follow this video. You will need to remove the hard drive from the Xbox and connect it up to your PC

Hi Bharath - no, there is no problem not to have the boot logo. The xbox will work fine without it - it will re-install itself during the next update release from Microsoft too

@@TweakTips I have to create those folders A&B? I download the boot file + animations but I don't see any folder A&B just one file bootanim.dat

@@cristianfernandosanchez4512 You should already have them on your drive.. If not, you will need to follow this video here - kzfaq.info/get/bejne/qruZpqR7z8yrqmQ.html - but be warned, this will wipe all your data from your Xbox drive.

@@TweakTips I understand, in my case I have the original hard disk, the console has not been modified, but the startup logo (green screen) does not appear, only a black screen appears and then start the dashboard, I would appreciate some help

@@cristianfernandosanchez4512 When you plug the xbox hard drive into your PC, you should see a number of "new" drive appear. Look for System Update X: drive and double click to open. This is where the A and B folders should be
