Great episode. I'm 42. Not a bodybuilder. Not a mega-athlete. Just an average, (amazing 😉) woman who just wants to grow into my age healthy and strong. This podcast, you guys, are my saving grace. Down 30 lbs, building muscle, and feeling frickin great. Thanks.

Greetings from Singapore. I really enjoyed the show and greatly appreciate the consistency in the great content provided to the community. I’m 43 this years and have been lifting weights more consistently since June this year. I could see my strength gaining but not my physique. That’s the most frustrating part for me. Looking forward to hearing and watching g more great content from you guys. Cheers!

The best part of your podcast is your reliability. You guys have a ton of experience and back up with science. You make it seem like everything is sustainable and that working out is more fun than it is a chore. You’re just like a bunch of dad dudes that are gym veterans that just likes to hang out after a workout.🤣 more power to you guys, keep up the good work.💪

You guys always put out topics and speakers right when I’m needing the advice around it! Lost over 100lbs now, sitting at around 13% bf. Currently reverse dieting, adding 100 Cals every week while reducing activity. Interestingly, I started losing weight! I’m back up to 3100 Cals and I’m really hoping to get to 5-10% above my maintenance over a few months (I’m really hoping it ends up being 4000+ Cals cause I love food 😂) Keep it up gang, much love from Melbourne, Australia!

I just purchased Maps Anabolic ( first mind pump purchase ! ) , really trying to boost my metabolism , I seem to always hover around 227 -230 after losing so much weight ( over 100 pounds but it took me 3-4 years so I did it pretty slow ) but I have been tracking and dieting so long it makes sense my body adapted to the 2300 -2500 calories a day . Maps Anabolic seems to really fit my lifestyle so far , my job keeps me pretty sedentary (desk job ) until I lift weights but I try and get the 10 k step count per day . I am hoping to see fat loss and better body composition and eventually get down below 200 . Thanks for another great episode .

I do workout every 3 day. One workout A and workout B. Mostly do baselift. Workout A is sqauts, RDLs, and bench with pullups + some shoulder and arms and B is deadlift and overheadpress with pullups + some shoulder and arms. My focus is to be as strong as possible with good form in my 10 reps max. If I have alot of stress on my life I just take a day longer break.

My favorite easy bulking foods, in addition to the ones you've mentioned: - 0,5L whole milk + rice flour (soaking overnight) + adding whey protein & greens powder the next morning - carrot or beet juice (high in potassium & more glucose than fructose --> less stress on the liver) - ground venison

I have stress and one of them is my job, working in the ER. I don't get to drink much fluids working there, we don't get a lunch and it's a very high stressful environment, violent patients, etc. I plan on to start applying to less stressful jobs in a few months. My sleep sucks, because I'm up a few times a night. I'm trying to work on that

1:12:55 - I agree, would add, just like we go to the gym to lift and build muscle, going to therapist is just as mandatory imo. Play around with how often you go, but you have to exercise your mind, like you exercise your body. You may not see physical changes with stress, but therapy is a good way to talk about all that stress that’s going on and work on ways to figure them out and work on issues with someone who is trained in guiding you to the right way (PSA - sometimes medical insurance will cover these visits) could see better results in every aspect of life.

Gotta ❤️ the show. I wanted to ask you guys a question but always feel like whatever you guys talking about,is more valuable than my questions. Bought one of your program and can't afford other one. Would love to win though. That would be amazing 😇. Thank you for everything you you guys share 🙏✌️

Great show as always! What would be the best starting MAPPS program for me? I am a 46 year old man. I am about 100 pounds over my ideal weight. I have a set work schedule, but its shift work. 2 days on 2 days off 3 days on 2 days off 2 days on 3 days off. Thats two weeks set. I am a supervisor so pretty much a desk job. I am not a beginner weight lifter, but have been really slack in this last few years. Looking for a recommendation. Thanks 😊

With 30 years of training under my belt, I recently lost 17 pounds of fat while gaining 3 pounds of muscle in 90 day. The caveats were that I started at 24% bodyfat in an overfed state, and I was about 10 pounds of muscle below my all time peak, starting at 215 and 24% fat and finishing at 200 and 17% fat, however I am 51 years old. I was averaging around a 500-550 calorie deficit. If I had eaten at maintenance I probably could have gained back my 10 pounds of muscle during that stretch. I'd like to get down to around 12% over another 6 months, and probably will have a hard time not losing any muscle in that period, but coming from that deficit, I think I could eat a little over maintenance and gain about 10 pounds of muscle in a year.
