I feel this all deep in my core. I have 7 children under the age of 9, including my 11 month old twins. I have to remind myself every day that my provision and my capacity is the daily manna from Heaven. Just like the Israelites, I can't store it up for tomorrow but that I must trust Jesus to provide strength and joy each and every day. I urge every woman to dig deep in GODLY relationships to find gospel encouragement and remind us that God is the only one who can help us to feel contentment when we feel spread thin and weak. Thank you for your time and words, Diana and Dawn! The gospel changes everything, all praise to the Father! Amen!

As a family of 7, we spend our family time while hunting, fishing, and gardening which covers 3 of the 4 cups family, work, and health. We exercise while we do those activities and it's healthier to provide our own food which means our grocery bill is smaller, which is why we work 😂! Thank you Dawn for talking to me everyday while doing laundry 😂 and thank you Diane for feeding my spirit while I do other daily chores!

I never comment on KZfaq videos but I just wanted to say as someone who is not at all religious, I truly appreciate what you are doing here. Your videos are informative and inspirational without being judgmental or pushy. This is the first time I’ve felt an inkling to explore my faith in a long long time. I’m going to check out some of your more religious playlists I’ve avoided in the past. Thank you!

You 2 are so lovely. x. I always enjoy your videos. At 64 I really struggle to fit in anywhere. Most people my age are either married or in relationships & don’t include single people. They are also mostly Mums & have grandchildren & I can’t join in with their conversations, especially when they start bragging about them. I’d love to have someone to do things with, especially Coronation Day on Saturday in the UK. Most of the friends that I have are ones on Facebook. If you have someone special in your life never take them for granted. You don’t realise how blessed you are.

I want to second all the comments about Intermittent Fasting! 16:8 absolutely works if you do a clean fast. (only water, black coffee, plain tea). Even to budge stubborn weight like post-menopausal. Has all kinds of additional health benefits too. Combine it with cutting out processed foods and “white carbs” (sugars, refined grains, white rice & pasta, white potatoes) and you can do a lot of good for your health in a way that doesn’t really require time, just choices. Intentionality. It’s counter-cultural in 2023 America but sadly isn’t that true of most good, important, truly worthwhile things?! (It will make you feel so good you will want to find ways to make time for exercise!!)

I love this concept! I try my best to practice “ora et labora”. Latin for praying and working, making my woke prayerful. (An ancient Christian tradition.) I don’t just apply this to the work I do for my paid job, but also for the work I do in my family, in my home, in other relationships, and with myself and the way I have fun and rest. This topic also reminds me of this quite, “Know that even when you are in the kitchen, our Lord moves amidst the pots and pans.” ~ Saint Teresa of Avila

I love how you broke time management down visually, showing how when we put God first other priorities fall into place. Regarding use of time on Sunday, I feel the need to mention that I, and many others who follow your channel, believe in and worship on the Biblical Sabbath which is Saturday, and we feel as strongly about baseball games and birthday parties on Saturday as you do about those activities taking place on Sunday. Big community of believers out here! Thanks for keeping us grounded in what’s most important in this life, including the best use of our time and resources.

I did two things that do not require eating less but helped me go down 20 lbs over time: I started getting everything possible organic so it really reduced my exposure to what for me turned out to be very inflammatory chemicals, and I reduced my lectin intake, especially gluten. Other things to check are too much sugar/carbs, get enough omega 3 healthy fat, watch too much omega 6(check your type of cooking oil!), and, if you are a dairy person with blood sugar issues, read about switching from A1 to A2 protein dairy. I keep frozen organic brocolli to throw in morning omlete, soup, etc for filling bulk and vitamins. So instead of eating less, I eat differently and the weight is coming off naturally. I did not cut anything out entirely, just more of some things and less of others, and cleaner whole food for the most part.

I love your videos normally and listen to them Sunday mornings. This one is a little interesting because it’s not like we all can quit our jobs or just work 14 hours a week. This minimizes so many professions that are vital to keep society running. If doctors, nurses, garbage/semi/bus drivers, educators, retail workers, postal workers….even the Starbucks baristas only worked 14 hours a week, our whole world would be different. I would be game for it (I mean who wouldn’t) but realistically until the US adopts this universally the vast majority of people need to work. Especially now with inflation and the economy this just doesn’t work for so many. I was a mainly stay at home mom when our kiddos were little, I loved that season of life, now I have 5 young adult/teenagers and I am in a different season again. I am a nurse and love that I can also have satisfying career. I tell my kids that you can have everything you want just not all at once. So basically I love your videos usually, they make me feel uplifted on the sabbath day but this one I don’t quite get. When Dawn shared this concept it made more sense. Sorry for the criticism just wanted you to see a different side.

I figured out when I'm ego driven my energy, relationships and priorities are in poor shape. When ego driven I'm always in a rush or in a panic and experience anxiety and sometimes boredom and confusion. All are very uncomfortable states. It's because the ego wants more yet it will never be satisfied. Because it wants to want more than it wants to have. For me I felt like being on a continuous hamster wheel. Important to note that the ego is in the driver seat whenever I feel dissatisfied, angry, unfulfilled, combative, etc.. The key is to become aware the moment I feel any type of negativity. I stop and focus on my breath or I describe what is in front of me or I feel the energy in, say my hand, instead of reacting. I've come to discover this neutralizes and halts the emotion from continuing. I immediately gain clarity and peace. The ego is in constant survival mode and thrives and strengthens itself on reactivity. However the more I've become aware of it the less hold it has on me (more peaceful moments). It's helped me to become the witness, the awareness and I hope it helps you too.

Good morning, Diana! In our busy days as you say we forget to keep God forward in our minds and heart. I have a friend who has started and old practice of “good deed beads”. There are 10 beads on a string. You can keep these beads in your pocket to remind us “all for Jesus “. It helps us to keep in mind the “little ways to incorporate your faith during the day” ( that was from you, Diana). Each time you feel the beads in your pocket and you, pray help someone etc. you can pull a bead. I think this is a tangible way to keep our faith in mind all day. If you would like to know more please let me know. It is really very simple but effective.

The Sunday mornings that are full of everything but church and Jesus are so sad to me. We are just so against sports that fill up our time so it’s hard to see. I’d love to do these Saturday mornings with you!!!! Started following your sister and love you both!

Hey you and Dawn would probably love this. There is a parenting conference going on this week called chaos to connection. It's so good. Listened to some of the talks already. You can Google it. Laura Dawn is one of the women putting it on. Telling some of you mamas I think would enjoy it. And like learning new things.

Best time to start weight loss is spring/summer as our bodies are naturally wanting to get rid of winter fat. Intermittent fasting is the easiest! And actually saves you time (cause you’re not eating all day… just a shorter window).

Some of the most impactful ways give the health glass some attention are: getting more sleep, drinking more water, switching out your lunch for a big salad every day (with nutritarian dressing/hummus), and getting 30 min of light exercise each day (e.g., a short walk with kids/pets).

I agree about the soccer fields, baseball games etc. being played on Sundays is wrong.

That empty work glass. So hard to see anything else 😂 Three years until I retire and pour that thing out!! It might be a regional thing, but I still attend church on Wednesday night and the youth meet then too.

A big part of the workforce issue is that corporations used technology, importing goods, etc., to gain higher profits, instead of putting those profits into supporting the workforce, their personal life, paid leave, recreation, etc. Also, studies done have shown that families now actually do not spend more on fluctuating expenses, clothing, food, etc. Families spent the same amount 50 years ago. It is however the large expenses, housing, which is linked to good schools and safe areas, Healthcare, that have gone up tremendously, now causing a need for two income families, that actually now struggle to keep up with all of these expenses. If we did spend the second income on extra fun things, it would be easy to change in times of hardship to shift that spending. However, that is not the case.

The womens liberation movement has a lot to do with this. Its wasn't known when they did this study. So, it's quite a delima.

YES YES AND YES!! The timing of your words today was what I needed to give me direction for a project I’ve been testing. I believe God cares about our health and wellness, as it enables us to have energy to bring Him glory in our relationships and professional “burners”. Romans 12:1-2 may have just become my life verse. ❤

I am a nurse. If i work on sundays i intentionally choose another day of that week as sunday and mark it in my calendar. I will not do any chores or run errands but instead spend time with the Lord, my family and friends or read a book. I even prep meals ahead so i don't spend my time in the kitchen. I started this over 20 years ago and when i sometimes skip my "sunday"! because of a "full schedule" i regret it almost immediately and turn back to this healthy habit... the shabbat was made for men, intentionally 🕊 Shalom

The funny thing about that is if we were dating again we would make the time for it. We would put it as a top priority 2nd to God so I know if our motivation was there we would do it, like dating, like trying to find our husband, like trying to please our husband, trying to look good for our husband, etc.

I fear my 44 yo daughter will regret working so much. She is missing so much family time. She and her husband are so hell bent on increasing their, already huge $, wealth. Her health is not good also. I am sharing this with her.
