Notes for the ones that have seen the video: 1. 0:17 - Give them the break up! (Don’t chase them. No contact, meaning you are not contacting them but you answer politely if they contact them) 2. Control the momentum ( when your ex starts to run away, stop chasing them, don’t look obsessed , the other way around, if they reach out , match their energy, don’t be over enthusiastic , show reserve when they ask about you missing them etc. ) 3. 10:15 - don’t be angry, anger shows pain, people instinctively know that. Focus on the good in your life. Your ex is probably not a bad person, the breakup wasn’t to hurt you, 4. 13:32 - don’t fix it for them, they could try to bait you to ask to get back together, don’t! They messed it up, they should to do it. If they are not willing, they are not ready, they still have a lot of ego . Doesn’t mean you can’t ask the out for coffee if they keep reaching out etc. just don’t do the hard part for them ) 5. 17:21 - don’t rush. It deals with attraction details, so if you are rushing you will act as they are much more attractive. Also if they ask to get back together, don’t just accept it straight away, say something like, I’m open to it but I want to take things one day at the time, it’s self respect and you should be cautious as they broke up with you before!

Reality is that no one that puts us through this misery deserves our time ever again!

Anybody reading this, please know that it does in fact get easier. I was with my girl for 16 years, she left me on Christmas Eve of all days. I was absolutely crushed in every way. Without a doubt it was the toughest time of my life. I used the opportunity to work on myself, I am able to say I’m extremely proud of the person I’ve become and I honestly don’t want her back. No contact works. My ex dumped me, kicked me out of our apartment, and found a new guy Instantly. I stopped talking to her, got shredded, and she’s called me 3 nights in a row crying and pleading to see me. I casually told her that when the moment is right, we’ll see each other soon enough. Wow I can’t believe this worked because it was so hard. Also, at this point I’m totally okay never getting back together so it’s like a win-win.

My ex cheated on me 4 days ago. I asked her if she would rather be with that person. She said yes. I said "okay thank you for telling me. I want you to be happy so go ahead and be with that person". Two days later she comes back telling me that person didn't want anything serious and that she seriously fucked up and is sorry. She is trying to make me her back up plan. Shit is hilarious. I told her I was done because it's the second time she has done something like this. I told her she probably has more than bi polar disorder and to go see a psychiatrist and a therapist that can help her with the consistent narcissistic tendencies she displays. She got upset and blocked me in hopes I would chase after her. I'm absolutely done. SHE BELONGS TO THE STREETS!

It has been almost half a year since my ex and I broke up, she dumped me brutally, blocked me on everything lol, but I saved my dignity and never chased her again. Truly, no contact and the power of silence is the best medicine to heal ourselves. :)

He knows exactly what he’s talking about! Every point. For the person who instigated the breakup to think that someone should want to reach out or send gifts etc to get them back is so egotistical.after When they realize that you won’t do that, you instantly become more attractive & valuable in their eyes and they sink back down from their temporary pedestal. You can’t seem mad when they call, be cheerful and calm. That will eat them up inside, and will be more receptive to your demands moving forward. The power shifts.

You gotta determine where that anger is coming from. Anger can be a response to hurt, but it can also be a response do having your dignity crushed. This is why reflecting and introspection is so key. If you realize that you’re livid because of how they belittled you or how they hurt you during the breakup, then it’s a good sign that you probably should stay far, far away. Let that anger fuel your initial recovery and push you to take care of yourself. If it’s just anger to cover up the sad, process it and let it fade.

If someone makes you wait and look at your phone every 3 seconds and you think its the only thing i need now that i can breathe ! that's the sign - you need to move on !

My ex ended things a week ago, he’s already reached out twice! I let him go, didn’t argue and started no contact immediately. He’s begging for me, crawling back as we speak. He is going to earn a place in my life again!

If your goal is to "get in their head" you are already losing as you are allowing them to still be a focus in your thoughts. The best thing one can do is to focus on their own growth thru ACTIONS. Don't THINK and instead ACT, ACT, ACT toward your happiness. Workout, develop new social groups, date, whatever. Just keep busy. With time the mind's thoughts will be focused on the results your actions are producing and replace the thoughts of the ex.

Also remember for my bros going through it at the moment. When a girl tells you who she is, you damn well pay attention. Don’t try to change someone that doesn’t want to be changed. If it seems like a bad idea, run away. Yeah I’m going through it myself but she played so many mind games I could just care now. I made the mistake of losing my composure and putting her ego way up in the clouds, which you should never do. She came at me first so I should have remembered that and stayed cool and collected. Onward and upwards fellas. I’m taking my value back with both hands.

SO AS SOON AS OUR BOUNDARIES ARE CROSSED- THATS IT.

In one of your videos you said “they feel the pain you are feeling now, later.” You were right! After a year when I’m happily engaged to someone else she is back, but I can’t anymore. She is begging now. I feel very bad but it’s too late.

Didn’t chase my ex and went into no contact , he reached out 3 times . The first time after 3 months, then 6 months, then 1 week after that. It works but I end up knowing my worth and walked away.

Okay coach. Long story short: Reasonably concluded I was the one who broke things off (details are too long) and went back. She rejected me saying she never wanted me, but a friend of ours later said she didn't intend to say that, she just didn't know how to say she wasn't ready. So this is it, coach. I won't need to see anymore videos; she's not the ex, I am. All I need to do is wait for her to be ready and we can begin again. I am turning off notifications but will stay subscribed. Hopefully I won't need to come back here.

Hi coach Lee! I love watching your videos they’re very helpful but have to done any on walking away from your person who isn’t ready for a relationship and could only give you a friendship? I met “my person” when he was at a time of just starting his business and does not have the time for a relationship, but wanted to stay friends and stay connected in some way. I had to decline because a friendship is not enough for me with him. Any advice for a situation like this? Do men come back when you walk away because you know yours AND there value? Thanks!

I went on one date with a guy 4 years ago. We had fun and there was definitely a connection. We stayed in touch for a short time after that, but never had a second date. He just friend requested me today! We haven't spoken in 4 years and I am absolutely not interested now. If you had a genuine connection with someone I think it is rare and people don't forget about that! Guys circle back around at some point :)

Hey Coach Lee! I just wanted to ask whether it's too late to go into no contact now? I immediately went into no contact after the break up but ended up being the one to reach out after a 5 and a half weeks and we have hung out a couple times since and there hasn't been any kissing or holding hands or anything like that but she has taken me to a shop I had never been to before and we have shared lunch together (like sharing a piece of cake) but it's all been under the terms of friends and every time we have hung out ive always been the one to ask her if she wanted to hang out and never her. Should I stop this and go back into no contact until she starts reaching out to me about hanging out and chasing me a bit more then proceed from there or am I okay with where I am? I don’t think it will work in my case. She’s gone, dating a new person. She’s made a decision and I’ve made mine to get out of her life completely. I’m going thru the painful heartbreak, focusing on improving myself. The pain is the price I pay for who im about to become, a better and stronger version of myself.

Giving them the breakup is extremely effective, especially if you had a relationship where you pleaded/played the subordinate role. The sooner you do it, the better. Give their stuff back. Stop contacting them. If you post, post only updates of getting out and doing stuff, and only at a normal pace. My ex was back in six days crying and apologizing. The problem is, there’s no guarantee that you’ll keep them. If that person has little to no interest in actually addressing the reasons why you broke up, especially if they don’t want to hear your version of the truth about those things, you’re SOL. My ex hung around about 5-6 days, then out of the blue dumped me again, this time much more brutally and painfully. Less than a week after that she ghosted, and I never heard from her again. It’s been a year.

I’ve been in no contact since January. He reached out to me last week Sunday. I waited two days to open it. Wasn’t anything great, just a picture of him and his team just saying champs. I responded saying hey I’ve been pretty busy but congrats. He opened it and didn’t respond until an hour later saying thank you! I opened it and didn’t say anything as there was nothing to continue the conversation. So just trying to have a little fun with him and see if he will reach out again. Hasn’t blocked me on Snapchat so every now and then I will post on my story and he does open it. But once they reach out and I didn’t say anything I feel like he will reach out again.
