Interesting to note that it will 'let' you use the other emulators: lr-fbneo and lr-fbalpha2012, only the difference from those than lr-fba , is with the fbneo and fbalpha2012, you're isolated to the digital pad instead of being isolated to the analog or digital option of lr-fba if you're using a 360 controller (I assume the sames for a dualshock) , but, you can fix that by holding hotkey and Y (or X depending on what you set up your controller's inputs to) to get into lr--fbneo' emulator's Quick Menu screen, of which you can select digital to analog mode which will allow you to control the game either with the analog or the digital pad either way while playing which is cool. You do have to do this with each game individually though if you want the analog support. and instead of the L and R triggers being used for coin select and start that lr-fba has; the start and coin select are isolated to the start button and select button and with fbneo as it is with other emulators. Holding down start on the start button for lr-fbneo brings up the MVS menu option screen though, which it does not for lr-fba2012, nor does holding the L and R triggers for lr-fba. This is also useful for changing difficulty, blood, language, and other basic in game features.. Alslo holding down the one of the face buttons *X or Y depending on what you'd set your controller to) and the hotkey which will bring up the emulator's quick menu for lr-fbneo and lr-fba2012, is convenient if you want to 'force Neo Geo Mode' aka change the MVS mode to AES mode, or Dipswitch, cheats, select a rewindm add to favorites, save states, load states undo load or save states,, change the difficulty settings, select autofire, CPU overclock, number of rounds, start Netplay host, connect to Netplay host, Refresh Room list etc. For lr-fba2012, Hotkey and B (or A) resets the game. Hotkey and R button is save slot for recording gameplay; hotkey and L is too load it., and Hotkey and start is to escape and go back to the main menu I just cant figure out how to get the MVS menu screen on it or in lr-fba which disables the hotkey and uses L and R together as a hotkey to escape back to the main menu only....which kinda sucks. All in all, I'd go with lr-fbneo, but yeah these emulators are confusing.

Thanks for the Video, but i stil have some trouble with some games. I can play ms2 - ms5 with this but ms1 , king of fighters, Neo Bomberman and others just crash after launch.

that large zip bios file is very elusive! no rom sites seem to have it

you don't need to put the bios file into the roms folder.

note that it's LR, not i r-fba... Also, you don't explain where the bios folder is on the pi, roms we know, I couldn't find the bios folder...

It's not complicated... But the frickin bios is hell a hard to find..!.. I have a raspberry pi 4 8gb and no game to play.. They don't work, or they work but it's changed games.. Strange ones.. Doubles.. I have like 50 games of sonic.. Why I don't know😂😂 now that I found a pack of neogeo.. Nicely done with video thumbnails for the games(nice presentation and arranged) no game works. I tried to start the games and after the smal rectangular box with the option to press a or a button... It just comes back to where you have to select the game! So yeah... I'm Realy frustrated.. But I can't give up.. It's the gift for my son so I have to keep trying! Also the roms are so difficult to find. Maybe someone here can help me, i would apreciate it a lot.. I still have time till 13 of June.. On 14 it's my son's birthday.. So I still have some time.. Hopefully I'm done till then. Im gelous of those guys that the show this recalbox with so many console emulators, the menu so nice.. And all games works! 😁😂

Not all the NoeGeo games work, even afterdone what You said. Only first 3 metal slugs work. None of the King of Fighters do.

Get an AES or MVS console.

Everyone is talking about some mystical specific size BIOS, but nobody, but no one knows where to get it, what ROMs to use for it. Another useless tutorial like many on KZfaq.
