Since I shaved my head (to make my SIL feel better about losing her hair to chemo) I spend about 12 seconds on my hair each day. Washing the stubble doesn't take call that long 😁

I just brush them so maybe 3 minutes in the morning. But when I wash my hair in the morning it's a solid 30-40 minutes :)

STEP 1: Have gorgeous hair like Melissa Maker. (Place game show fail button sound here) I do not. It's fine, bone-straight and has breakages from bleaching for 100 years. I have been waaaay too shy to attempt to skip a day of washing my hair. Although I only have about 11 hairs (not really) on my head, it gets very oily very fast. I just can't stand it! Your hair is so crazy beautiful!!! I am so so jealous. I will give this routine a shot, though. I'll try it on the weekend so I don't scare anyone if something goes wrong. Thank you for this and the hundreds of other tips that you both share!! Lots of LOVE sent your way!!!!

With hair like yours Melissa, there's probably zero chance of a "bad hair" morning. I have fine hair and I have given up on a "good hair" morning. Lol. I LOVE ALL of your videos and I always look forward to trying everything that you suggest but, you only have what you have. And I don't have good hair. Your BEST idea that works for me is using baking soda with my shampoo. Once a week and it works beautifully!! Thanks for everything you do!

Not enough. My hair hates me. Either way it's going to look a hot mess, so max 5 minutes.

I have naturally straight hair which is very fine. When I worked outside the home, I used a lot of products to give my hair volume, and also used a curling iron or round brush and blow dry and spent about 20 minutes each morning. But now that i do not have the pressure of corporate life, most of the time I just let my hair air dry after running a wide tooth comb through it. I have found that by not using all those products my hair has become healthier, even though I do continue to color my hair. But, if I want more body in my hair the next morning, I put it in a pony tail at night (my hair is too short for a bun). BTW I've been using the cornstarch as dry shampoo trick in another of your videos since I was a teenager in the 70's.

Ok, first of all, you have the most beautiful, gorgeous hair ever! Second, I don't do much to my hair. It is fine, thin, oily, and wavy. So I wash it every night. Then I let it air dry 90% of way. I make a small bump in the front and then wrap the rest in a high, tight bun. It looks fine if I want to wear it that way the next day. Or I take all the bobby pins out, let out the bun and bump, and I have curls. I just style how I want. Takes less than 10 minutes? Hope that helps someone with hair similar to mine! 💖🤗

I wash my hair at night and let it air dry while I am sleeping. I have Asian straight and thick hair that stays straight and does not curl. Many times I don't have time brush my hair in the morning and it looks fine like I have brushed it. If I remember about my hair, then I brush it in the morning at work. It takes about 30 minutes to wash my hair.

Great video! Definitely going to check out those clips. IIt's more comfortable for sleeping, and I've heard that the hair rubbing up the pillow as you move through the night can cause damage the hair. I don't need anymore breakage than I already have, lol.

Similarly to you, I spend 45 minutes on hair washing days. I figure it's a good investment though. With dry shampoo I only need to wash my hair every 4-5 days, so broken down it's a good 10 minutes per day, which I'm OK with.

Takes me 30 minutes on hair washing days. For my hair I use commercial shampoo. Sometimes using a shampoo and conditioner all in one. After I towel dry, I blow dry for 10 minutes. I don't like using any products in my hair. Also, I use to let it air dry but that takes too long so these days I like to get the hair dried faster.

I wash every other day. On those days I spend about 15 minutes on my hair as I blow dry. On the other day, just a brush through.

Curly hair +brush = BAD IDEA ! Lol , unless you want to look like you just got electrocuted 🤤😲 I spend about 10 minutes putting in a little gel and a few drops of water to refresh the curls, sometimes a bit of dry shampoo near the scalp. And wear it up on top of my head at night. Now if in washing it, that takes forever, putting in product, drying with microfiber and wrapping in any old t shirt. Thankfully I only wash it twice a week 😁

I just wash, condition, brush and go. Most days I wear a ball cap bc my hair is too short to do anything with. In the process of growing it out. Thank God for Biotin or I would still have a pixie cut nightmare.

I typically wash my hair in the evening, therefore, I don't spend much time at all in the mornings especially during our brutal summers. I take my dog to the dog park first thing in the morning and it can be very humid, then I come home, drink hot coffee. It's amazing that I can get make up on, so the thought of using a hot appliance on my hair isn't going to happen. Winters are very different. I'll either use electric rollers, curling iron or another hot appliance.

I braid my hair at night so that I don't wake up with a welcome mat on the back of my head! It doesn't seem to affect my natural curls either. It's also nice and cool in the summer!

I have natural super curly hair but it's got like trillions of layers and is really thick, so the curls are weighed down and my hair is wavier. The annoying part is that the bottom layers are always SUPER curly but then my top layers are super straight. So basically no matter what I do I'll always have half curly, half straight, naturally thick dishwater blonde hair. It's the ugliest thing in the world most days.

I curl my hair once and it stays curled for 3-4 days, same if I straighten but sometimes I need to go over it a little. But it takes me an hour to curl or straighten my hair because it's so thick... but I don't complain!(:

I don't have long hair so I spend little time on it. Probably five minutes all up each day brushing in the morning, evening and if I drive with the top down. :-) Also it would be kind if you could find an alternative to a boar bristle brush - that way no one has died for your hair to look good and you will have good karma.
