Not being able to fight doesn’t necessarily mean that someone is weak, it just means that they never had the opportunity to gain experience fighting. The more experience you have, the better fighter you are; that’s a fact.

100% some folks have a predisposition for fighting. Maybe its a survival instinct idk. But there are people who learn to fight, and people who are naturals. Experience is key a huge % of the time so im not disagreeing with the op. But i also agree with some other comments on ability vs education.

Im sorry to hear this, my thoughts are with you. Sending you some loving energy, because i know some days are rough. My fiance, was killed a few months ago. These vids distract me for a while too.💚 so i know what you mean.....He was my bestfriend, my future, the love of my life. I thought i truly made it in life. I had it all. WE had it all. Then boom. Matter of seconds he was gone. And i had nothing. My bestfriend, the love of my life and my future disappeared in the blink of an eye. He was 1 of a kind. Simple, happy man, and I had never before, felt loved the way he loved me. I yearn for him daily, dishevelled and depressed witha broken wrist, on a couch in my grandmas basement. How did this happen?! where do I go from here?

I learned quick by observing, not talking, and minding my own business. I also learned when you first step in the unit/block that if you don't look the type then someone might try to see where you're at. If that happens you gotta do what you gotta do but it's up to you to interpret the situation. Someone might approach you just to see if you are gonna back down with no intentions of actually doing anything. Stay out of the drama, stay humble, and don't let someone check you if you get whipped you get whipped but that's the way it goes.

I've never been to prison but I would imagine that being as physically relaxed as possible in your interactions with other inmates would help a lot. A guy who is obviously jittery about every little thing is going to get noticed and considered as a possible target. Being newly locked up and being nervous about it seems appropriate but you would need to get over that as soon as you can. Just like talking too much, being jumpy around people all the time could get irritating after a while.

Should you "Never back down?" As a general rule, of course you shouldn't back down. But you have to think about the nature of the confrontation you're in. If they're coming around to rob everyone's canteen every week, they're not going to let you off the hook just because you fought back. Or else everyone would start fighting back, and their scam would be over. You'd have to decide if your snacks are worth getting beat up every week. (They usually let you keep a snack for yourself anyway, as a way to keep things flowing.) Another case where it might not be worth fighting: You actually are at fault, maybe by unintentionally offending someone. They want to fight you, to keep their own rep. Most people won't blame you for a quick, "Hey man, I screwed up. I apologize. I didn't mean anything by it." But it has to be done with the sense of, "I'm a decent guy, who made a mistake." Don't do it out of a cowering fear (even if you are feeling that inside).

I saw that video...I saw homeboys fear the same you did...for him....the religious car would be best. There is no predicting how it's going to go,. I can tell you got heart, and some game, got the experience... I would take your advice . By the way, homeless shelters, soup lines and stuff...same stuff applies, respect, breeds dignity, not safety. Thanks for your hustle.

True. When you lose everything and end up homeless or locked up the only thing you can keep is your honor and dignity. When someone would disrespect me on the street i would respond with severe hostilty. When life is good that same situation is easily blown off. When youre reduced to being an animal you have to struggle and fight to keep your humanity.

Good Stuff!! You could be in movies and you seem like you could be a good actor, especially prison roles.

When I was in Jr high school there was a kid in my PE class that was quite overweight. When we went for runs he always finished dead last. That didn't leave an impression on me at all. What did leave an impression was that he put his best effort into it every time. He had everyone's respect!!! Now, Imma watch your video!!
