I am a retired 77 year old RN with a BN and had decided at the age of 26 not to eat any man made food. I grew up with meals made from scratch and meat with vegetables. It was the time when margarines were brought in and were being pushed by health experts however it was created by humans so I said NO to it. I also did not eat any fast food( expensive) rarely drank alcoholic beverages. Initially it was because of cost but then about health. I am very healthy ,exercise and try to get a good night's sleep.

Just came across Jessie. What a lovely, sweet person she is! Love her enthusiasm, energy and ideas and her infectious smiles. I will pass all these hacks onto my mum who is on the verge of being a diabetic. She can be a bit of a hard work as she doesnt like anyone telling her what to eat or how to eat her food but i will do my best to get her attention. She went down from 7.1 to 6.4 in a space of 6 months but still has a way to go. Thank you, Jessie and Dr. G 😊

Hmm.. as far as i'm aware fruit should be eaten separately from meals as it's easier to digest and can interact with other heavy meals. Especially if someone has digestive, stomach, acid problems. It is very important how you combine food, indeed, just have to be the right and some good old sane logic way.

How does ginger tea work instead of vinegar?
@lucez205
@lucez205 2 ай бұрын
I don't know the answer to your question but since I've incorporated magnesium supps and 3/4litre mug of ginger tea daily and also intermittent fasting here and there of up to about 16hrs, but nowadays about 13, I have become very regular. The ginger works for me like a treat. I do not have any problems with my sugar but it must be keeping my weight down, speeds up digestion. As long as your stomach can handle it, try the ginger and see what happenes..
