No everyone likes Windows 11, so can you go back? the short answer is yes. Microsoft have not made it easy for you to try Windows 11 as they only give 10 days to roll back to Windows 10. Most people think that after 10 days you can't go back to Windows 10, but that is not true. You can go back to Windows 10 at anytime, but after 10 days, you will need to do a fresh install of Windows 10. I will show you how.

I believe that mirroring your entire drive before upgrading to 11 is a viable solution. The reverting back process is a no brainer. Thanx Brian - Good one 👍👍👍

Bought myself a new key - thanks for the discount. I've been running windows 11 on and off for ages but for some unknown reason i keep getting silly little bugs, my latest being when i right clicked when on desktop, "New" was missing so i couldnt create folders, shortcuts or text documents! I will not be trying or installing window 11 ever again! I bought myself a win10 pro key, created a usb iso and entered the key when requested. All went well and now i have a fresh activated copy of Windows. Cheers Brian ;)

Hi, Brian. I went back to Windows 10 after trying Windows 11 for a month. I wiped my boot drive and did a fresh install of Windows 10 after using the newest Windows 10 media creation tool and made a bootable thumb drive. Then I want into the BIOS and turned off TPM 2.0 and safe boot before installing Windows 10. My activation key worked because I have it associated to my Microsoft account instead of my motherboard. All is working fine, and I'm once again getting the message that my PC doesn't meet the requirements for Windows 11. Perfect. 👍👍

I love your vids Brian but this one is a little confusing with the title, I expected it to show you a way to keep your apps and other files whilst down grading, this is what the title can be taken as, this is just another way to reinstall win 10 and remove win 11, It's ok for folks that are not sure on how to go about reinstalling an OS, maybe you should change the title of the video :) keep up the excellent vids bud, I do enjoy them, as do many people out there, It also gives the less knowledgeable some insight and a decent guide to follow.

I saw the rollback option on like my 5th day when I was just going through settings and just shrugged it off and told myself to try a couple more days. I completely forgot. Glad this method still works!

I will only consider leaving Windows 10 once the support for it has stopped. Hopefully by then, Windows 11 is worthwhile upgrading to. At this point, Windows 11 offers nothing that I cannot do in Windows 10 Pro.

Thanks for the great video. My HP Envy X360 computer I purchased 14 months ago began randomly shutting down about a month ago. Hoping this roll back will solve the random shut down issue. I was told by HP that the Windows 11 operating system may be to blame. I never knew of the roll back option when I purchased the computer. Oh well. I’ve moved all my files to an external hard drive. The next is to install Windows 10. It may take a couple of tries depending on the install time. I never know when the computer is going to turn off.

Ye I don't have windows 11 cause some of the things windows 10 has have been removed from windows 11 and frankly I prefer windows 10, awesome video by the way, better just to do a clean install of windows 10.

After 10 days Microsoft sends a small file to alter the registry and adds a run service, trick is to undo what Microsoft have done. then then go-back to previous version is enabled again.

I sure do!! I’m fed up with how slow it’s made my Asus laptop. It’s only 2 1/2 years old, I3 10th generation, quad core 1.8 ghz, 12 G Ram and 2 Tb HDD. Ever since I “upgraded” to Win 11, and joined the Insider program, it’s been super slow to boot and setup. I’ve used some of your tips and configs, but to no avail, so I’m going back to Win 10 until 2025 at which point I’ll get a new PC. Great job guy, keep up the amazing work. 👍🇨🇦. Update! I hear ya. My laptop isn't 2 years old yet, with very capable hardware. Ever since a recent upgrade in Win11 (I think 22H2), I've had a constant issue with TPM not working in Windows and getting security errors, despite the hardware being certified and TPM worked fine in an earlier release of Win11 (prior to 22H2). I've reinstalled windows 11 3 times now and the issue still remains, with no real solution. Aside from that, yes, my system has gotten sluggish (a 10th gen intel core I7, nvidia RTX3080 and 32 gb of RAM) at times with way too many quirks. After this vid, I really do have to take a step back and see if going back to Windows 10 is a much better solution or stick it out with Windows 11 for the next couple of years when I'll probably be in the market for a new laptop anyways. maybe by then all the bugs will be worked out, don't know.

If the Win 10 restore files are still there, disconnect from the Internet, and set the date to something earlier. Might work.

By the time W10 support ends, your 7th gen will be 8 years old. That's about the time most people should be thinking of replacing their PC anyway, IMO.

yes....yes you will(all of it) so I recomend getting a usb with all your data in it so when you make your pc windows 10 again you can just put I the games you had into the windows10(you lose passwords too)
